Instead of using smart cursor (because it can be stupid sometimes), you can use a pressure plate that won't break when you use instead that connects each block you need to keep teleport back and forth and to use it, just press jump while shooting and then quickly aim cursor to the boss

You could also set the teleporters up to timers so you don’t have to stop aiming to press the switch to teleport
You can also make an i frame machine using fall damage and a hoik, but admittedly it’s kinda annoying to make more than once

All terraria bosses can be beaten by circling around wi the proper timing
