There was a way to get the unknown block in Survival 1. You need to get an add-on 2. Place a block that is an add-on like All The Wool 3. Delete the mod: delete the mod in the settings of the main menu 4. Go to the world 5. Go to the settings, and set your controls in the pick block into anything 6. Go to the block, look at it and use the control you used to the pick block There you have it! Fun fact in bedrock edition you can use an add-on and then remove it from the world and then custom blocks will be the "updated block"
