the top four objectively worst Farm types and stard Valley four the beach Farm you can’t use sprinklers what why would you choose to use this Farm if you have to spend half the day watering crops it makes no sense the beef here is not the worst because you can find crates with decent items and the farm is very big allowing for you to build plenty of buildings three the hilltop farm this Farm gives you a quarry while useful early on it becomes obsolete once you unlock the superior Mountain Quarry sure the farm looks nice but the rugged terrain makes crop planting a nightmare like where do you put the sprinklers to the riverlands farm this Farm is meant for fishing but why bother fishing here when there are bits of fishing spots like 20 seconds away the only reason this is not the worst Farm is because you can make it look beautiful with buildings and Pathways and finally number one the Wilderness Farm monsters spawn at night seriously who wants to deal with Annoying monsters every time you come home for this reason it is the worst bomb time

just buy a bunch of wells…..problem solved
I mean, everyone says the river lands farm is bad, but after the 1.6 update, you get a free fish smoker, which is amazing
You CAN use sprinklers on the beach farm, but only on a greenhouse sized plot of land covered in trees, logs, big stumps, and big rocks
But it's so fun to fight with some monsters before sleep 😴
Or you combine the beach with monster sponning. I'm playing through it right now so my wife can have an easier time on her play though.
The one with monster spawns is pretty much the standard farm with the added combat xp bonus, which I primarily do so its easily my favourite farm type
Dw I still refuse to use sprinklers
1. You can turn off the monster spawns at night once you unlock the witch’s swamp area
2. Extra combat EXP
3. Really not that many monsters spawn at once. They’re easy to avoid if you want to
Personally the wilderness farm sucks because you can already buy late game items to toggle that.
It’s actually really easy to avoid the monsters
