First: check your keybindings, you can assign a key to disable both in-game and on-map waypoints.
Second… check your minimap settings. There’s a separate section for waypoints and the mod allows you to customize just about everything you need. This also includes things like minimal render distance for local waypoints… if you set a waypoint to local then it’ll only show up within a certain distance (“max distance”).
But also keep the “minimal distance” in mind… this will hide waypoints when you’re very close to them.
