I know if I want the giant crops then I should plant a large area, but then there's randomness to it that I can't easily plan around and I like planning layouts way ahead of time 🙁
Another tip: giant crops only check if the plants of the same type around them are growING not fully grown. Meaning you can save some speed grow if you don’t have the recipe yet like as in y1 by only using it in a grid pattern or by excluding the outer ring of crops.
Giant crops are the best but they feel way out of place for me to just leave them after the season ends. I am only now starting to experiment with decorating my farm so I have no idea how to surround it with things to make it make sense 🤔 because I like things that make sense 😅. They also pop up in a field (duh) so it would mean I'd have to repurpose the field or move it and late game for me usually means hustling for the golden clock so every little bit counts.
I cannot describe to you the sheer amazement At seeing one of these spawn for the first time when I first got the game. I did not know about them. I was minding my own business in fall and woke up to see not 1 but 2 giant pumpkins sitting in my field.
My first giant crop is Qi Fruit. I left my farm for 2 days because I got 2 lucky days back to back and go to Skull Cavern hunting. Day 3 i saw 3 giant crops. I was shocked. I didnt know it was possible.
