Am i the only one who doesn't like the dehydrator?
All you need to permanently solve a lack of hay is a sword with the haymaker enchant. Use that sword during green rain and you'll have hay for years.
i dont think that the only way to get mossy seeds is by harvesting. i had a randomly generated one once and picked it up.
unless you have tons of logs, pickling mushrooms in preserves jars is better, specially purple ones and chanterelles with their high base price.
How do yall keep running out of hay???? Just put some grass starter under your animals' fences, and they'll eat outside grass that regrows pretty fast. You can also click on the hopper (next to the feeding tray) with an empty hand while the tray is not filled to pull out some hay and put it in your chest, so that your Silo doesnt fill up

The dehydrator takes 5 of the fruit/shroom and does this:
(Base Sell Price)*7.5 + 25
In other words, per crop it comes out to be:
(Base sell price)*1.5 + 5
For context, preserves jar is
(Base sell price)*2 + 50
And keg is
(Base sell price)*3
Only use dehydrators on crops that you have way too many of to process otherwise, such as Blueberries and Cranberries.
Use preserves jars instead of kegs when the base sell price is less than 50, and kegs for everything else
And also, don't put Gold or Iridium quality into Dehydrators, it's not worth it
