Did you know that you can use Silverfish while
mining? Surprisingly Silverfish are much better at mining than a pickaxe. Silverfish can
hide inside stone and infect the stones. But if another Silverfish gets attacked, the
Silverfish inside the stone will break the block and come out to help. You might be wondering
how to get enough Silverfish for this tactic to work. If you throw an Infestation Potion
at a mob, there is a chance for a Silverfish to spawn every time it takes damage. So what
you need to do is dig a small hole and trap an Allay in water above the hole. Allays take
damage from drowning but they can heal their health quickly enough and never die. If you
throw the Infestation potion at this Allay, it will automatically start spawning Silverfish.
If you then throw Regeneration and Poison potions at the Silverfish they will quickly destroy all
the stone, and leaving only the ores behind.

I'm an old,old gamer. I'm 73yrs old and have played ever since gaming started with pong. I'm a Fallout and Minecraft fan, big fan now that I'm retired. I hadn't played Minecraft for several years, but my grandson has got me back in the game and out of the Wastelands of FO76. I'm amazed at how much the game had changed and evolved since it first came out. I played it when it first came out, but compared to how the game is today is like comparing the old Apple 2e I first learned to work a puter on to the phone in my hand which has 1000 times the power than a 2e did. Thanks to people like you, I can barely keep up with the game! I'm an old dog, but I love learning new tricks.
