Me and my brother Milo are going to be testing crazy ways to find diamonds in Minecraft. From massive drills to explosive TNT, which tools going to come out on top? And who’s walking away with the most diamonds. First up, the ridable excavator drill. Oh yeah, starting strong. Let’s go. Ready to lose, Milo? Chip, you’re about to watch greatness. We’ll see. 3 2 1 go. Let’s activate this thing. And wo. Okay, it’s actually drilling. This is amazing. We should be able to find diamonds pretty soon. And wow, that’s a lot of cobblestone. Let’s see what this thing can really do. We’re cutting through stone pretty effortlessly. And wait a minute. I can already seeing some diamonds. Oh, this is perfect. Milo’s probably just spinning around in a circle getting lost. I think this is an easy win. And even more diamonds in the ceiling. Oh wow, this is cool. Okay, we’ll keep going. I’ve now got a diamond in my hot bar. I’m feeling so confident about us winning this thing. Poor Milo. He’s probably freaking out. And yes, more diamond. I wonder if this counts as mining or going on a luxury underground cruise. Honestly, probably both. Wow, full speed ahead. This is looking pretty incredible. But hang on, I haven’t seen any diamonds yet. But wow, diamonds. Hang on. Does this drill not go up? Are you serious? Well, I guess I just got to keep going in this direction. But yeah, boy. I’m getting so many. I’ve got so many diamonds right now that if Milo beats me on this one, it’s probably just beginner’s luck for him. There is no way he could possibly beat this many diamonds. I just don’t believe it. So much stone. My mortal enemy. But yeah, more diamonds. I think I meant to drill right in this area because low key 16 diamonds is looking pretty good for your boy. And yes, we’ve now got 10. I wonder if we can raise this thing upwards. I actually don’t think so. I guess these diamonds on the roof might just be out of reach. Come on, big guy. Let’s get rich. I think my strategy is going to be mining in Stall a little bit, placing two TNTs, fighting them, and then running. Please, please, please show me the diamonds. Oh boy, my fingers are crossed. Yeah, we got diamonds. This is really good. But seriously, they’re up way too high. Looks like I’m going to have to use some of this TNT to get up there. This is lowkey taking a little bit of time, but hey, we’re actually getting diamonds now. This is looking up for me. I’ll just place another TNT here. And diamonds already. Okay, I guess we’ll put a TNT here. This mining TNT is really powerful. I’m going to stand super far away cuz I do not want to take any more damage. And ow, how did that hurt me so much? Wow, we’ve already got four diamonds and there are still more over here. This is absolutely incredible. I didn’t know we’d find them this quickly. Mining TNT is honestly exciting. I wonder if Milo’s blown itself up yet. That guy is such a goofball. A there’s one up here, but I could barely reach it. Let’s go a little bit higher up. I won’t lie. Bridging with TNT doesn’t feel like the safest method of mining, but you just got to take what you get, I guess. That one revealed a lot of diamonds. Let’s see if we can place one that might reveal even more. This one’s going to be a jackpot. I just know it. One, two, three, four, and maybe I’ll just run around and gather all of these right now. Yeah, so many diamonds. Well, now we have this goofy looking structure. I kind of want to blow it up, but I think I should save this TNT for deeper into the mine. Okay, let’s see what that revealed. Quick, rewind and slow to quarter speed and tell me he was sneaking around back there in the comments. I cannot have anybody stealing my diamonds because I am going to be a rich boy. TNT mining is fast and flashy, but it is a little risky. So, I’m just going to give this one a B. Risky. It’s kind of perfect. I didn’t get too many diamonds, but explosions, chaos, everything you need for mining. It’s an easy A for me. Next up, moss block mining. Moss, but gardening diamonds now. Exactly. Watch and learn, Milo. If it grows diamonds, I’m all in. All right, Milo. Are you ready? I think so. I mean, I’m ready to get gardening. Uh, or mining, you could say. Let’s do it, then. 3 2 1 go. Okay. I’ve never really done this before, but I’m thinking that I got to put the M pluck there and hit it with the bone meal. And Whoa. Did this just make it grow? I wonder if I can keep this going. And there’s m everywhere. Now I think I just have to use this diamond toy to get rid of it. And wa, this is going so fast. I think I might be able to find diamonds quickly like this. Just got to put the moss everywhere and then mine all the way through it. All right, I got to place down the moss and quickly spread the bone meal. Just like that. This is perfect. Then if I do it again, I can actually start mining this stuff. This is perfect. Now, this strategy is really good for spreading the moss out quite far in the cave. If I do this, I should be able to use my diamond hoe to quickly get rid of it all. This is so much quicker than it would be if I was just mining this myself. This is a really good strategy. Okay, and there we go. Now, we can keep digging even further down. Let’s keep bone wheeling this stuff. We want to get really, really deep. That way, we’ll actually have a chance at finding some diamonds. One, two, three, four. I love moss at my door. It’s weird that we haven’t found a single diamond yet. I mean, this strategy is a pretty good one. I’m surprised it hasn’t turned up any results. I’m getting a little bit worried, actually. What if we never find diamonds using this strategy? I think we just have to keep trying. We’ll definitely find diamonds eventually. They’re definitely around here. Hey, I think we might be in the right direction. And yes, diamonds. This is amazing. Let me get rid of these flowering aelas and try mining this. All right, we’ve got one diamond, two diamond. Wa! There’s even more over here. This moss trick really helped clear out this area to show us that there were more diamonds here. This is great. If we keep going, we’ll definitely find more. Okay, as you can see, I’ve done a big patch of Mossy stuff. So now all that’s left is to use the hole, I guess. All right, Mossy, do your thing. Wow, look how much moss we’re getting. And has no one found any diamonds. Maybe this isn’t the most effective strategy. Or maybe I’m just not doing this in the right spot. I wonder if Milo actually understands this strategy or if he’s just planting a lawn. That bird is so silly. I think I’ve got a huge advantage in the moss mining section cuz I actually understand how this stuff works. Milo’s idea of vanilla Minecraft mining is uh well mining with a vanilla ice cream. It’s not the smartest thing I’ve ever seen. Let me just say that. Okay, I think I’m going to try going down further because this just really isn’t working on the surface and I need some diamonds or else Chip is totally going to beat me and I cannot have that happening. Yes, I managed to find some more. This is perfect. I think we’re up to about eight diamonds now. That is a serious achievement. Moss is kind of overpowered. I’m surprised nobody uses this more. I think my new strategy is going to be going down further because I still have not found any diamonds and I cannot have chip winning or else I’m really really in a lot of trouble. All right, let’s dig this out. And are you serious? I can’t even find something here. Okay, I am starting to get really embarrassed. I feel like Chip probably definitely has some diamonds and this hasn’t given me anything. I better go quickly. Surely there has to be some diamonds in this place. Next up, the mining train. Wa! Finally, something impressive. I’ve always wanted to drive a train. Just don’t derail this one, Milo. No promises, Chip. Wa! Look at this thing. This looks incredible. And Milo, I’m on your side for some reason. You trying to steal my train, boy? No way. But you trying to steal mine? No, I was just looking at it and punching it. Hey, stay back. Are you ready to roll, Milo? I’ve never been ready. 3 2 1 go. Chips started so quickly and I don’t even know how to use this thing, but okay. Full steam ahead, I guess. How hard can it be driving a train, right? Yeah. I don’t feel like I’m crushing at all. Definitely normal. Yo, wait. I’m breaking stuff. This could be incredible. And is that diamonds I see? Somehow I’ve already got three diamonds. That must mean the train has already directly run into other diamonds. This is perfect. Now, let’s get back in this driver’s seat and keep piloting this thing. Choo choo. Okie dokie. I’ve got a pickaxe now. That means that we’ll steam ahead on the diamond mining. Give me that. Give me that. Ooh, my train’s actually done a pretty good job of clearing this out. I can see quite a lot of diamonds. Definitely more than ships right now. Oh yeah, even more diamonds. And wo, that’s so satisfying. This is really epic. I wonder if Milo’s managing to actually stay on track or if he’s completely gone off the rails literally this time. That’s so funny. We’ve already got nine diamonds and that’s quite a lot. This train is so much easier than some of the other ones we’ve tried. I barely have to move. I just get to sit my butt down and watch the diamonds roll in. Wo! There’s diamonds on either side right now and so many more up ahead. This is insane. I’m already on 12 and I haven’t even mined these ones in the corner yet. Can’t believe how efficient this thing is. This is definitely better than silly gardening. Does this thing ever end? 20 diamonds. Things are looking pretty good for me. Chip probably thinks I’m crashing right now. Not today. Milo is rich today. I think Milo just hung. Oh, he’s going again. Okay, I have no idea what Milo’s doing, but I’m going to keep mining these diamonds. Wait a minute. I think I’m about to have an actual stack of diamonds. This is ridiculous. Hold on. And we literally have a stack and one diamond. This is ridiculous. This train is so overpowered. That last stretch actually revealed quite a few diamonds. Who knew the train could be so great at mining? Well, this is my new favorite method because 23 diamonds. Chip’s going to actually been really crying. I’m sure he’s totally messed up the train because trains really distract him a lot lately. If that moss method could give me this many diamonds, I’d probably have ranked it higher. But it simply did not. It was simply the worst method ever. I think the train is really powerful. One day, I wish I could really drive a real train like a real boy. Time to get off the train and go back to get to I swear there was someone there. Someone else is definitely here. Oh my gosh. Quick, rewind and slow down to 0.25 speed. Next up, silverfish mining bugs. They’ll actually help. Give them regeneration and poison, and they’ll mine all the stone, leaving only oes behind. So, they’re mining bugs. Exactly, Milo. Weird, but let’s give it a shot. Oh, yeah. Look, Milo, we’re already here. And here’s the chest. I think they have Yep. silverfish eggs, poison potions, and regen. Okay, let’s see how this goes. I’ve never mined with silverfish before, but I’ll give anything a shot. Ready to unleash the silverfish? Not really, but here goes nothing. 3 2 1 go. Not going to lie, this is a really weird Why are they disappearing? Oh no, I’m stuck. This is not getting off to a good start. Please, what do I do? Maybe I need to get this wall to bridge out of here. This is so embarrassing. I can’t have Chip knowing about this. First, we’re going to need to spawn all of them down. Let’s do that very quickly. Just like this. We want to spawn them quite fast. Otherwise, they’ll all absorb into the stone. Now that we’ve spawned them in, before they absorb, we’re going to splash them with a poison and a regeneration. Now, get mining. Wo! They’re actually going. I think the poison might have gotten me, too. But, okay, they’re literally mining. This is insane. Keep going, guys. You got this. Okay, attempt two. I’m going to spawn a bunch of the silverfish boys. I think they’re going to get absorbed into the rocks and then I’ll splash them with the potions. I really don’t think this is going to work, but I don’t know. It’s worth a shot. All right, bugs. Time for your medicine. I hope you’re ready. Pow! And yep, that got me as well. And Pachow! Now they’re getting poisoned and regenerated at the same time. They’re digging really far down. Hey, silverfish. Wait for me. I want to see what’s going on down here. Don’t mine everything without me. Um, they’re kind of slowing down. Hello, guys. We really need to mine all the blocks. Okay. I don’t know. Um, this is strangely satisfying, but I honestly thought they’d mine a little bit better. They’re really slow right now. Okay, maybe if I do this and leave their sight, they’ll keep mining. And wo, that looks crazy. They’ve already uncovered a diamond. Yep. I think the trick is definitely leaving their sights so that they do a lot more mining. This is ridiculous. Okay, I think the silverfish might have done a lot of mining so far, but now we just need to trick them into thinking I’ve gone. This way, they’re a lot more likely to just absorb into a sidewall. I can hear less and less of them. This means it’s actually working. Let’s take a quick peek over the side. And okay, there are barely any of them left. I think if we just hide over here, we should have all of them gone in. I need to be careful, though. If even a couple of them are still out there and I attack them, they’ll summon a giant hoorde of them. So, we really do need to be careful. They’re punching me. But they’ve also found diamonds. What do I do? Okay, that was a really bad situation. But the good news is they got some diamonds down there for me. Okay, pickaxe secured. That’s the good news. And there’s actually double good news because I think all of those sneaky little guys have disappeared. So, uh, guess I got three diamonds. Listen, it’s not my favorite method, but it did actually kind of work. Kind of useful considering I used bugs. Okay, I think the coast is clear. Let’s make our way down into here. Wo! It’s scary just knowing that I’m surrounded by a bunch of infested silverfish stone. Luckily, the oes cannot be infested. Let’s mine this. And okay, one, two, three diamonds. This is pretty cool. Now, we’ll mine this diamond block. And oh yeah, we’re getting so many of them, but actually, I thought I’d get more than this. This seems like a pretty small amount for the amount of work and the fact that I got poisoned just by trying this mining method. Huh, this method is weird, but I guess it’s pretty effective. Six all diamonds. That’s not bad. Okay, now that I have all the diamonds, I need to get out of here. And wait, what? There’s no way. Did you guys see that? This is like precision mining laser style. We should probably see how this goes, though. I’m literally cutting a giant flat thing through the entire middle of this. That’s crazy. No other method of mining is this precise and specific. With pickaxes, you’ve got to get so close. And this so slow that no one can mine in a flat line like this. Let’s just hope Milo doesn’t accidentally sneeze and look over to my side and mine me. That would be terrible. Hm. It doesn’t look like we found any diamonds this way. Maybe if we do this, we’ll totally find some. We’re literally creating a super flat world right now. I’ve never done that before. This is pretty cool. I feel like really confident. And okay, right now I’ve just found stone. This is kind of weird. Let’s do this thing. And okay, well, that’s not how you use it, is it? Maybe this way. And Oh my gosh, it’s it’s so good. Oh my gosh. Yes, we mine them. And we can mine that diamond there. Now, let’s go in a circle around us. We’re bound to find diamonds if we mine precisely like in a circle. Wo, this laser’s got some crazy range. And wait a minute, there are diamonds over there, too. Hold on a second. Let’s mine over to them. And boom. Wow, we’re really doing a good job at this. Let’s complete our circle that we were mining in. Surely we’ll find some more lasers if we do this. Okay, I’m not even that deep into the cave yet, and I already have 11 diamonds.
