20 Stardew Valley Secrets I Guarentee You Don’t know ( 1.6 Special )

absolutely insane First cook up some boosted ginger ale with key seasoning and drink this stuff Then eat some magic rock candy Look at how many buffs you already have You are going to crush the skull cabin with this setup alone Now go to the annual desert festival and go straight to the cook Choose rare fruit and uncomfortably hot sauce as the ingredients and get this incredible dish that gives you both luck and speed This meal is insane And the buffs do not override any of your other buffs Look at how many buffs I have This gold cabin is going to be absolutely destroyed with this setup I had no idea the chef’s meal is additional to your regular food buffs Nothing can stop you with a setup like this Mushroom logs have a secret use that you didn’t even think about Get a setup like this This way we have the ability to get tons of every type of mushroom in the game Some mushrooms are more valuable than others but we want the variety in this case That is because you need mushrooms to craft up life elixir Life elixir heal you for 100% of your health They are one of the most effective items to eat in the mines to ensure you are healthy and ready to conquer Unfortunately Mystic Syrup is so gosh darn good that it may still be better However you can craft life elixir much earlier than you can get Mystic Syrup Do you have tons of bee houses set up for pure profit like this but need to carefully harvest fairy rose honey out of fear from accidentally collecting a flower and ruining the whole setup yeah you could set up your bee houses in a way that it is impossible to harvest the flower but that’s just not possible with a chaos setup like this on Ginger Island There is a solution for this that is so simple I think I’ve been an idiot this entire time Just fill up your entire inventory with something random like chairs except for one slot Now you can harvest the honey and it’ll literally be impossible for you to harvest the flowers Gosh I wish I knew this 2 years ago Listen Evelyn and Gus are the two best people to befriend in the early game This is because they will send you food in the mail Food equals energy and energy is crucial for your success If you get some nice gifts from them and it’s not what you need you can simply reset the game and check the mailbox again Do this repeatedly until you get some good energy filling food You can also do this with Pam to get battery packs This might sound insane However this tip will give you a huge early game boost On the first day of your playthrough head to Clint and buy a single piece of copper Then he will teach you how to make the furnace on the second day of your playthrough Then on day five when the mines unlock you can dive for copper ore You’ll be able to craft a furnace on the fifth day Drop that furnace on the first floor in the mines and start getting copper bars an entire day earlier It seems insignificant It isn’t I found this strange bug while recording for a video Get a mill The mill is kind of useless I know you don’t use it However if you did you can glitch it The mill has a limited number of slots for processing or more specifically for collecting the processed items If you take like 50 stacks of rice and drop it into the mill for processing the game will almost break This is because you have processed more items than the mill can hold Look at this lag It’s insane Coffee and spicy eel are both absolutely crucial to your skull cavern runs These are what will allow you to reach floor 100 and meet Mr Key However spicy eel is just kind of hard to get Actually it isn’t Rubies are a gem that do not sell for much They can be duplicated using crystalariums and only take 2 days Get many rubies and trade them in for spicy eel at the island trader They will save you in the early game You won’t regret it Innate enchantments are way better than you may know There are three really cool combinations First take any acceptable weapon and keep trying until you get both the slime gatherer and the slime slayer enchantment Combine this with the slime charmer ring and you are now the literal slime king Grab an idium needle and keep enchanting it until you get plus 75 crit power This will cause your Idium Needle to just do ungodly amounts of damage when you crit Just look at these crazy numbers Get a really slow weapon The slower the better Then enchant it until you get like plus 11 speed This has now just became the fastest weapon in the game It is kind of goofy and that’s why I love it Magic bait is interesting It will allow you to catch any fish regardless of the season or weather And its best use is for those of you who are chasing after perfection I won’t lie I have used this stuff before However ensure that you never buy it straight from Mr Key Now that is just a waste of key gems Always rather buy the recipe and craft the stuff yourself It is incredibly easy to craft after all Love eel fish ponds have a disgusting secret As you know you can take fish out of the fish pond and they will slowly reproduce and fill back up Well with fish smokers we can take nine lava eels out smoke them all up and sell them for a quick profit wait for them to reproduce and then do it all over again All while aging their eggs effectively double dipping on profits Yeah legendary fish can’t do that in the fish pond You need many battery packs They are required for iridium sprinklers and for crystalariums and I always just never seem to have enough of either Back in the day we could glitch the system and cause every day to be a stormy day allowing us to swim in battery packs That has been fixed So just do it Use gosh darn solar panels Look at how easy they are to craft Craft up solar panels and you will have a guaranteed endless supply of battery packs If you don’t need them anymore you can always sell them for 500 gold each This is obviously impossible in normal circumstances However that you know that the skull cabin has 2 billion floors This is absolutely unnecessary as by the time you hit floor 5,000 the entire floor is filled to the brim with iridium ore However the game really doesn’t like being on floor 2 billion Everything kind of just glitches out and freezes So it’s probably good that we can’t get there through normal play All right check this out In the early game if you have absolutely no inventory space left and for some reason you do not have a chest in the mines you can kind of just dump items on the floor Leave and sleep As long as you do not quit the game those items will be laying there ready for you to pick back up I saw this on Reddit today and I was absolutely amazed You know signs yeah these things that we drop items on for display purposes Well you can drop paintings on these as well This looks a little strange However this is the only way we can get these paintings to be shown outside of buildings which is really gosh darn cool if you ask me Whoever found this you’re incredible Thank you kind sir The trout derby is an interesting festival You need to fish and catch trout Every time you catch a rainbow trout there’s a chance that you will get a golden tag that you can use to swap for a prize The truth is that golden tags are not guaranteed Even if you use rainbow trout bait you are not guaranteed to get a golden tag unless you use challenger bait If you use challenger bait and get a perfect catch you will always get a golden tag Not that there are any good rewards anyway The scout profession is deceptive It states that it will increase your critical strike rate by 50% This makes it seem like you will have at least 50% critical strike chance That is categorically false This increases your existing critical strike by 50% Your base critical strike chance is only 2% So yeah the scout profession isn’t as good as it seems If you picked the Hilltop farm you might think you screwed yourself This farm layout is just really strange However it has an incredible redeeming quality that I think makes it insane Just drop a mini obelisk right over here at the entrance to your farm Then drop another one at your very own personal quarry This is where the fun begins Now move your farmhouse to your quarry Your house is now on top of a hill overlooking everything else Comment your opinion on this I think it’s pretty cool I found a small bug The crab shaw ring gives you five defense The topaz ring gives you one defense You would think that if you combine these two that you would get six total defense However that is just not the case You’ll effectively lose all effects of the topaz ring which is very sad I tested this with the Ruby and the Ridium Bands Their damage effects do stack So I believe this is indeed a minor bug Okay check out this glitch Open up the chat window You can do this by hitting T on the keyboard or by pressing in the right joystick on console Then type forward slash recount nuts This will magically give you golden walnuts even if you have already found them all Then just trade those in for key gems at Mr Keys store You can do this over and over again and just absolutely swim in key gems This is going to sound so absurd You might just love it Pops are insane However they are only insane if you drop them into kegs and make pale ale Selling hops as they are is just horrible Look at how worthless they truly are It is actually better to drop your hops into seed makers and sell the hop starters as seed makers have a chance to give you bonus seeds That’s crazy I doubt you’ll ever use this Still interesting regardless That was 20 of
