I made a mob trap in the middle of the ocean because I thought it would help to spawn hostile mobs faster but nothing spawns there or anywhere at night, I do have some mega torches but they’re far away from the mob trap, I already moved the trap further in the ocean, changed the floor to dirt, used commands to kill all the hostile mobs around me but still nothing, the weird thing is if I turn to peaceful then to normal, the “Monsters” counter jumps to 70 immediately regardless if it’s day or night also I used spectator mode to check the caves under my “home” and there’s nothing around.
