which difficulty game mode in Terraria is the most fun classic expert journey or master mode here’s my ranking in last place I would put master mode it’s fun enough when you have a lot of experience but in terms of new content it’s pretty underwhelming you get a few trophies and pets enemies have inflated stats and that’s it next up is classic mode the essential way for beginners to get started with Terraria not much else then we’ve got journey mode what’s not to love about it you get a whole bunch of settings which fundamentally change the way you play the game and some of them are great for example disabling biome spread journey isn’t really a harder way to play the game or even necessarily easier it’s just different and finally the best game mode in Terraria is of course expert mode brand new boss attacks increased drop chances on rare items and a bunch of new incredible accessories expert mode is the most fleshed out game mode in Terraria by far once you get good enough for expert mode you’re never going

Bold of you to assume Ill even begin expert because for me something can only be fun if it's easy
I've been playing on expert mode for a while now, ever since I had around 200 hours on terraria (I have 945 now, around a year later), and I haven't thought much about master mode. Because I'm so used to expert mode, I don't really want to switch because like you said, master mode just adds relics and pets, which isn't worth it imo
Journey-Master most fun imo. Maybe Journey-Expert
You get all the drops and accessory slots and you can always lower the difficulty.
