Terraria but Everything is WAY Too Fast

i’m defeating Terraria but after every boss enemies will get faster after one boss they’ll be 1.3 times their original speed after two bosses 1.6 times their speed three bosses 1.9 their speed it’s a weird number to increase it by but it’s as low as I could make it and still have the run be theoretically possible but also still interesting the thing is though I have to kill every single boss in this challenge which means by the time we get to the wall it’ll be nearly three times faster and I have no idea if that’s even possible so can I beat Terraria while mobs are progressively becoming faster let’s find out expert mode most challenges in expert mode it’s just a little bit nicer i was playing around with increasing mobs knockback before starting and these couple for slime still had those modifiers applied which was pretty funny but enough of that there’s a lovely little cave immediately to my left a very nice starting cave hopefully it goes somewhere and doesn’t just end abruptly in sand sure enough it is a good cave and I have found a cloud in a bottle in the first chest I came across cloud in a bottle I think is just the best thing you can find in your first chest increased mobility and a way to break or fall it’s just the best and my car track brought us to a couple veins of platinum a magic mirror and into the tundra with an ice chest right there for me to loot it’s the worst thing I could have asked for ice skates but I guess it will be nice if I find an aglet later and can make lightning boots actually wait mobs are getting faster this run that’s the kind of point of it so yeah this will be useful the next chest provides a good early game weapon the ice boomerang i used to not be a big fan of looting the tundra it always felt like a big massive hassle but I’ve grown more accustomed to doing it and especially in this world where it’s the first biome on my right which I swear never happens really weird so we’ll take full advantage of this oh yeah that was a really big dump got the base set up a little unorganized what I’d found before heading to the right side across the tundra into a cave that went directly into a living tree with a finch staff solid all right we’re getting some pretty dang good luck here any goodies down here any at all ah I saw it i saw it as I was falling darn it this is also when I noticed something quite peculiar wait wait hold up what is going on with this i need to set them on fire and I need to ignite them and why is it doing 80 damage i checked the mod settings and found nothing that should have impacted the uh debuff damage of my ice boomerang genuinely no idea what was going on with that but later on it reverted back to normal so we’re going to just not worry about that and head deeper into the tundra in the hopes of finding a blizzard in a bottle and flurry boots oh explosive trap hello found my first life crystal and was sure to slaughter all the flinches I came across a snow volcano was in the first chest that I found a fairy led me to a life crystal i know some people I hear just are not a fan of fairies they they think they’re pretty much useless i don’t understand that i’ve never found fairies to be that bad sometimes they’ll appear and just lead you to the treasure you’re already going to and that that’s lame but I mean I feel like that’s the minority the next chest blessed me with a blizzard in a bottle but I couldn’t find any more because of these mobs and so used the gravitation potions I found to obtain a star fury as much as I’d love to search more of the skies though we got a really early blood moon and I’m still not in a great spot to deal with a blood moon so we’re going to just start the hell right now and not deal with it was hoping for Hermes boots along the way but wasn’t having any luck with that oh we found Waldo nice a lot of mining exploring and looting later and I’d still not killed my first boss we’re going to fight the Aythulu first because I think faster King Slime might be more interesting of a change but I kept getting distracted with things to do like I made this nice house and all that i I need to make more nice houses even in these challenge runs you know make it so each run has a little distinct home base but you see part of the reason I hadn’t gone out of my way to be a boss was because I was having a hard time finding ore and so couldn’t get a lot of armor and the distractions just kept on coming from accomplishing this minor goal oh go an army hey all right i’m so down for this before we start mining and all that all right and I’m just going to put this here out of context just for those who watch the live stream so we’re going to make a quack sound [Music] yes that was actually me thank you i am a professional the goblin should not even be that difficult because we haven’t increased their speed at all and yet I was struggling which I guess means it’s good we haven’t increased their speed or else this could have turned out very poorly for me fortune you need to get out of here go on get Gohan get you were not made for the battlefield now go trade some debt no Edwin [Music] no well he’s dead now i feel pretty bad because I’m barely surviving the goblin army and I have more gear than I think I usually have ended up needing to play things extra cautiously oh my goodness they’re just everywhere ah spikeball them spikeball them spike balls are best against the goblin army they really are this is definitely much more difficult than the time that mobs became larger after every boss which just means larger goblins are easier than regular goblins but we managed to clear them without dying i headed back underground and keep mining the elevator while doubling my time down here to search for the goblin tinker and hopefully find Hermes boots an accessory that will be very necessary in a run where everything else is going to be extra speedy no boots anywhere where are the boots i’m finding plenty of life crystals but platinum is strangely absent which isn’t great for my defense we blew up the last of the elevator there we go [Music] love that oh big luck big luck demon Scythe first try demon Scythe first try demon Scythe first try darn it with that accomplished I needed to find the elusive tinkerer h goblin tinkerer hey there he is i got the rocket boots in workshop and was smacked about the face with the realization that I still don’t have a lucky horseshoe or Hermes boots i don’t know if I remember the last time I got rocket boots before Hermes boots it feels weird having them equipped without immediately upgrading to Spectre i expanded upon the arena a little before heading back down to find well Hermes boots hoping that these magic words would make them appear i’ll say it i’ll say it i love ducks you lied to me on top of not being able to find Hermes boots I still haven’t been able to get enough platinum to finish my armor i tried using a teleportation potion just in the hopes that bring me to a random place with platinum or even treasure but still no luck i tried using the extractinator but that was never going to get much but you know what this is good enough let’s at long last get the mobs to move a little faster by killing the A Cthulhu it was an easy battle all NPCs are now going to move at 1.3 times their normal speed it’s not going to be a massive difference but you know we’re just starting this might seem like a tiny change but already zombies have an easier time hitting me in between sword swings things are noticeably faster not like crazy faster but it’s definitely noticeable already i don’t know if projectiles would move faster i think they do i figured I’d check out the jungle and search for more gear and ore feral claws were in the first chest which will help with the melee build we’re going to have to build and an anklet of wind was in the second chest already we got the two main things that we needed in the jungle a few hives were easily discovered but eventually two many slightly faster stingers became too much to handle so let’s craft ourselves a handy dandy slime crown to fight the first boss that’ll actually be affected by the speed change king Slime king Slime that’s 1.3 times faster this this might be a little more challenging but it’s still not a whole lot of increase in speed so I think we’ll probably be fine it’s definitely teleporting in less time maybe Read Logic should just uh make this the default make it so King Slime is like 1.5 times faster than he currently is king Slime was definitely more speedy and harder to handle but in the end it’s still just King Slime and I have some pretty good mobility this brings our speed to 1.6 of the original speed i returned to the jungle again for platinum and Hermes boots oh and a blade of grass also considered killing queen bee next if I fight her later then she could very well become nearly impossible to kill oh wow that’s moving like a bone lee what the wait did you see that the hornet just phased through blocks oh that’s terrifying it’s going so fast it’s phasing through blocks it just appears on the screen every here and there the enemies are already much more difficult oh man oh oh hold up a bat can juggle me and hornets can come out of nowhere and snipe me right side though looks like hitting them slows them down oh they can snipe me by just ramming me oh no some of these are way too fast hornets are particularly hard to fend off because they normally move at different speeds you know before we start bumping it up so now that we are increasing their speed even more the craziness of those variances are all the more of a headache oh what i think that was a bat maybe a bee my whole time down here I’ve been using the Star Fury to explore and fight since it’s my only good melee weapon and well there’s a reason you shouldn’t use this thing in the jungle oh that’s Oh I thought I saw honey there oh shoot okay um Oh my do we try it do we try it i think we try it we’re here now we’re here we’ll try it see if we can take her down very unlikely considering we started to have health but maybe we can luck out maybe we can I mean skill out mad skills we’re already doing a good bit of damage to her it’s going to be the fight of the century chat the fight of the century oh but I’m so low already yeah at least I was able to mine a bit of platinum so I should finally be able to finish my full set or so I thought i thought it was enough i need one one more platinum ore i ended up in the tundra somehow in my search for the platinum but finding just one should be easy enough and I could use some more flinks fur for the deer thing I’ll have to craft all right fairy where are you bringing me oh two oh oh thank you fairy thank you oh that’s nice now we just need to find a single platinum finally some fast boots and I actually don’t need to mine one platinum because one of the chests had a few platinum bars in it so at long last I have full platinum armor and I’ve gotten all the accessories needed to upgrade straight to frost bark boots all right now we’re speed demon last thing I want to upgrade is my blizzard and a balloon but to do that I need to rope up to some sky islands to get a lucky horseshoe the first one didn’t have one but I was jumping from the islands I’d found to see if I could find other ones that were nearby and not have to keep roping up not at all okay oh oh oh ah there it is no so low to the ground too that’s weird kind of cool but weird there we go that’s a really low sky island i used the teleportation potion just for the heck of it and ended up in a granite biome this treasure room over here i have Hermes boots watch it’s going to happen it’s going to happen what did I tell you and a And a grab potion just all that time searching for those things and now we don’t need them and so now you give them to me you jerk but that’s enough messing around time to kill some more bosses and keep the speeds going up oh oh oh oh hold up hold up or at least that was the plan with the blood moon I decided to drink a battle potion and try to farm for a money trough and Shark Dude’s necklace the armor piercing would be particularly helpful against Skeletron I bet only issue is that I wanted two things and you know what that means terraria did not give them to me a few black lenses and a bloody tear drop but no shark tooth necklace and no money trough but at least with the bloody tears I can summon another blood moon to farm in the future it’s also pretty weird because the spawn rates felt higher than they should not because they actually were but because the mobs moved from offscreen where they had spawned into view a lot faster than they normally would giving them the appearance of a higher spawn rate moon farming failed we head straight to the underground crimson i don’t think the brain being faster will change that much about the battle the creepers will definitely be more challenging but I guess we’ll see okay I am a little scared of spiders and whatnot coming in through here during the fight so let’s actually block this off a little bit oh woah woah woah woah okay hold on slow down slow down careful you know the pattern you know the pattern you can guide them you can guide them along it’s fine it’s fine you’re a-ok okay you’re good you’re good nice nice all right not a problem at all good kill the brain here all we need to worry about is the knock back it doesn’t matter if he’s faster that just brings him into our sword faster we got this we got this sure enough the extra speed did not make much of a difference it did require that I identify the real brain faster but that’s not actually very hard to do and with my high defense I could take a few hits now mobs are going to be moving 1.9 times faster practically double their speed i was thinking of killing Queen Bee first but Skeletron would probably be smarter to kill now if he gets too fast then it’s possible that he’ll become unkillable queen Bee meanwhile can be tanked or cheesed easier I think than the spinning head of doom i assembled the arena but now it’s early morning i could sleep to the next night but I have a bit of a problem blade of Grass is my best weapon and even at normal speeds it’s not the best weapon against the bone head a boomstick would go a long way did I find one before night nope so let’s just give it a shot okay you know what they’re probably not going to stop spawning so let’s just get this going oh come on come on come on i need I need all the night I can get and again he might be really close to me the whole time so I’m be able to consistently hit him that way all right now we got 20% extra speed ourselves maybe we’ll use Shield of Cthulhu to kind of Oh my goodness the hand zoom oh okay okay okay we’re We’re good we’re good oh oh oh oh oh oh we’re not real good oh ouch you dodged this oh dear ouch oh absolutely destroyed okay I guess we’re getting hell stone pure generally I don’t like getting hellstone for Skeleletron makes dungeon looting feel pretty useless in my opinion but this is not a normal run so we need to take extraordinary measures mind enough to make the fiery grade sword molten pickaxe molten fury imp summon and full armor can’t remember the last time I used the molten fury but I need it as I haven’t found a boomstick and by that what I really mean is that I did find a boomstick and then accidentally sold it to the merchant when I misclicked thinking I sold the flare gun not the boomstick I had been searching for for so long and head to the dungeon forgot boomstick wait where did I put the boomstick oh no no no no no did I accidentally sell it wait no no no no no i think I sold it oh you got to be kidding me i don’t know what it is but I’ve been selling a lot of things that I needed on accident lately oh we have the molten fury at least once the hands are gone this will get a little bit easier to deal with i think I don’t know how bad the skulls are going to be though it’s also almost impossible to target one hand or the other just kind of shooting into the night hoping to hit things there we go good damage good damage finish it boom all right now we just got the head okay okay this is doable this is doable oh the skulls with their extra speed also look like they curve out a lot more either that or that’s just how they normally curve out and but it’s so slow you don’t usually see it okay the skulls aren’t much of a problem after all we got this we got this easy money oh oh no no no no no no no oh you got to be kidding me there’s no escape got to be absolutely joking come on give me heals give me heals give me heals oh there we go okay okay there is zero escape if I get caught in that no woo that zombie so help me kill zombies kill the zombies and all other enemies we can do this okay okay okay perfect timing on that dash there just run away just run away there we go we head off into the dungeon with enemies now moving at 2.2 times their speed okay that seems like a really long spike ball chain don’t you think seems uh a bit excessive all we need down here are a cool ball shield or a masa oh the the the spike balls are actually really cool i kind of like them going this fast they’re terrifying instead of just I don’t know a minor obstacle i had an epiphany down here that the Titan potion will be so much more helpful than it normally is right now knock back is huge since my attacks are considerably slower compared to the speed of the enemies at this point many of them can sneak attack me in between attacks so knock back gives me the time I need to hit them consistently we got a key and the Kubal shield no more SP oh ouch haven’t seen those guys shoot yet just one more key needed and that did not take long to obtain i upgraded to the Knight’s Edge which means we could head straight to the wall but we have to kill every boss so first queen beerclops i killed them both pretty quickly but only after realized that the enemy speed wasn’t actually increased i thought something was off but at the same time they felt faster i was probably just self-deceiving because I knew they were supposed to be faster and some mobs actually were going faster just not all of them i had this problem before with the mod where I had to unload and reload it for its effects to actually work not sure what the deal with that is but eventually I tried that to make sure I wasn’t crazy oh that’s Oh that’s much better okay okay that’s much better so now we have to beat them again and for some reason I killed them out of order doing deer clubs first instead of last oh oh no oh shoot oh nuggets um oh this is this is actually so much harder oh this is so much harder okay okay hold up we need to get out of here ah not be in range the whole time not be in range the whole time ow oh he’s just on top of me i should have gotten a a warmth potion it’s impossible to beat the game without one of those oh this is so much more fun okay now queen now I’m looking forward to Queen Bee queen Bee was disappointing but now now we have something to look forward to get rid of Get rid of her shadow hands and just have her move that fast that would be perfect stupid shadow hands making life miserable and so much worse with sped up too all right all right we got him we got her cheese toast cheese toast there we go oh I got the radio thing there we go that’s what we needed that’s what we needed we’re not going to wait even a moment straight to queen B going 2.5 times speed all right let’s do this queen B oh oh oh oh she is hopped up oh this is so much better oh I love this okay okay she she stopped hit her good that hit her good and now she’s The only way you can dodge that is shield Cthulhu it all right there we go we love it when she stops easy damage oh and her Oh yeah her stingers are just hypersonic but also it looks like you can just dodge them by moving slightly to the left or right yeah cuz Okay I guess she doesn’t target you directly or that just it’s actually just slow enough the slowness of them is actually sometimes a bigger threat when it’s regular queen bee so yeah this works out and she she’s just parking herself a lot oh yeah all right oh oh oh oh oh hold up hold up there we go easy money this brings us to the wall of fresh who will now be 2.8 times its original speed this may very well be impossible to defeat the run could easily end with the wall being unbeatable we’re going to make a hell bridge as I think it’s the best way for us to start but before we get too carried away with this I figured it’d be a good idea to first gauge what kind of speed we’re going to be dealing with all right let’s throw it in what do we got oh all right all right he’s pretty speedy i can match I can match it speed [Music] yeah I can only match his speed right now when it’s not Ooh ooh I can match speed before it’s accelerating at all i think this could be possible with the golf cart or horse mounts i thought the golf cart was faster but apparently horses are but before we can use either of those we need to make a bridge demon is glitching oh and it’s got a voodoo doll we’ll still We’ll steal you there we go are you kidding it just faces through the building hits me and runs with the bridge built across half the world we’re in a position to at least give the wall an attempt slimes are just stuck in the ground now all right to purchase a horse from the zoologologist I need 30% of my beastiary filled i am just barely short um where have I not been i I I’ve explored the world pretty well i guess I haven’t really checked out the desert we purchased a saddle making us almost ready to challenge the wall again but first I figured it’d be smart to set up campfires and heart lanterns along the bridge i love how the bat is out running my horse i’m not really sure if a damage or defense build would be best against the wall in this scenario i’m going to defense right now assuming that he’ll catch up to me and I’ll have to tank it being dragged by the tongue a few times but I was also happy to have Lucky and Menacing since I didn’t have enough money to be picky with that let’s see if we can kill the wall this time extra fast wall of fresh doesn’t stand a chance all right all right it’s actually so far back there boom horsey is carrying all right we make sure to use our potions oh we got this we so got this i should have grabbed archery potions the lasers though are just undgeable easy oh oh it’s catching up oh it’s starting to catch up a little bit okay but it doesn’t seem to be catching oh no oh you got to be kidding i Dude that’s so unfair but I can get He launched me back into it he launched me back into it we can do this we can still do this that’s so unfair though i went across this whole path of the horse and never fell off what the heck oh oh no oh okay around half health around half health we can no longer outrun it we just have to tank it we just have to tank it oh the wall had a considerable amount of health remaining but I was confident that being that close to the wall for so long would allow me to dish out damage fast enough that I just needed a little more tanking ability to finish it off a few life force potions happen to drop from the pots in the underworld and the extra 100 health I figured would be enough to push me over the top that and a little longer of an arena so I tried again with nothing but a few more potions bam the demon scythe here all right now go oh oh here we go here we go all right moment of truth moment of truth come on heal oh no oh oh oh no how do we beat that first idea I need more damage how do I get that damage stinger necklace it’s a double whammy with armor penetration damage from bees and extra healing from the honey it’ll douse me in maybe that makes it a triple whammy whatever i found a whole lot of hives in the jungle so only had to kill a couple of those bees to get the honeycomb while I waited for night I figured I’d try to find a couple bass statues to put around the arena but only found one with it being almost impossible to predict where I’m going to need it and with how fast we’ll be traveling one bass statue is not going to help much when night rolled around it took a shockingly short time to get a shark tick necklace and money shop this time allowing me to craft a stinger necklace i used all the potions that could be helpful including obsidian skin and water walking in case the wall knocked me off again and felt pretty confident in my ability to win all right now let’s pelt him oh boy come on come on come on i heal up come on tank it tank it like a champ tank it like a champ come on dang and now we don’t have life force potions potions are going to be even more necessary than I thought and somehow I managed to not find an alchemy table last time I was in the dungeon and so I had to grab one of those i found a stopwatch I purchased before so we can actually do some testing as to what would be fastest my first thought is to abandon the horse and try Dune Rider boots this thing can go 53 mph without any other boost to my speed and the horse could only go 46 I think i’m not sure how much of a difference 7 mph is going to make in the end but it’s enough to change our strategy to Dune Rider boots this is when some people might want to inform me that the minecart tracks move at 66 mph this is true but I’ve already committed to doing sand and I don’t feel like changing anyways minecarts just don’t feel as fun and my current running strategy has even greater speed potential or at least my thoughts we’ll get to that but first let’s see how this sand strategy works are you ready kids cuz here we go holding him off well we’re holding him off very well all right at max speed he cannot hit us his lasers cannot hit us at top speed that’s huge save us a little extra damage for later oh oh oh oh oh he’s speeding up he’s speeding up we’re still faster we’re still faster switch our arrow type might need to extend the arena a little bit longer all right he seems to be matching my speed now hopefully he won’t go any faster but he definitely will oh oh we’re out of Oh no okay okay can Can we out DPS him no we can’t a All right all right we need a longer arena we extended the arena a bit hot dog boom all right now we got major improvements to our stats that’s actually huge i am speed bin woo oh mythical demon scythe let’s go before fighting the wall I decided to increase my speed a bit more by sacrificing my white horseshoe balloon and replacing it with the magile luminescence this brought my speed to 60 mph just shy of what the minecart track could offer but this was without drinking a swiftness potion which increases movement speed by 25% so I figured I should be able to reach 75 mph which is part of my reasoning for not using a minecart turns out however that the swiftest potion I was consuming contributed nothing to my speediness i have no idea why only that I am greatly disappointed and question whether swiftness potions do anything at all anyways I was ready to try and fight again but the guide hadn’t moved in for some reason this is room he can move in unless I’m crazy wait what do you mean it’s not valid housing wait what how is this not valid housing what [Music] what wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait how does that painting make it not valid housing anymore does this have anything to do with there being fewer blocks to walk on or something like if you have too many chests in a house it’s no longer valid that didn’t make any sense to me because this is a painting and I’ve never had this problem before but here we are i fixed that and added some more housing in the desert but the guide refused to show up rather than sleep the night away I figured it would be wiser to gather some bait for fishing in the jungle that we can use to collect endurance potions that could very well push us over the edge with the wall let’s kill this thing let’s finally Oh no ow ah not a good start not a good start all right but we can recover from this we can recover that was a really bad start all right we’re doing a lot more damage a lot faster i did not drink any potions let’s drink those and just make absolutely certain that we’re going to be fine i should be bringing mage power potions with me as well how fast are we getting up to 60 but I have swiftness i have swiftness potions why why is my speed not going higher than 60 it was definitely higher than 60 or definitely it was like 60 before I drank the potion what the heck doing good we’re doing good all right here it comes moment of truth we’re at full health all right melee it melee it what wait when did I get that low oh dude it shredded me took a moment to craft and equip my sick sick branding i’ll accept the fedora because the dumb trucking merchant hasn’t sold it yet but this branding will definitely better our odds against the wall my next strategy is to use a few teleporters spread across the bridge to teleport myself further along in front of the wall some strategies that were also suggested include using the lava shark but anyone who uses the lava shark against the wall has way too much time on their hands because the amount of mining and explosives required to make the underworld suitable for that is insane and be a nades were recommended but I’m not convinced the bees would be fast enough to actually keep up so we’re going to use something that is easy to set up and should be quite effective teleporters 2,000 health we’re getting near the teleporters we’re getting near the teleporters come on where’s my teleporters where are my teleporters where are my teleporters oh it pushed me past my teleporter oh you got to be kid it goes so fast it drags me behind it until I die oh no only 86 health are you kidding me i only needed another second maybe two but who knows if I can even get that second or two when the wall outruns its own tongue basically when the wall is going max speed I have to defeat it before it overtakes me or it will autokill me i only have to make up for 86 health though in theory so it should be doable if I play it just a little bit better i added a few more teleporters for extra safety but it was time to run it again let’s do it [Music] oh shoot oh there we go thanks for bringing me up here buddy thank you i forgot about the existence of hummopiranas that could have increased my damage output but I did purchase ale from the tavern keep okay not good not good a [Music] so close a dang it this is really becoming quite the delicate balance i can definitely kill it but I have to bring it to just the right amount of health by the time I reach teleporters can’t go too slow or else I’ll run out of arena and can’t go too fast or else I’ll have no teleporters could I simply extend the arena yes but we’re not thinking about that right now instead we’re thinking of using the bone helm as a last ditch accessory I could equip if it’s dragging me with its tongue to deal the final few blows I need did I remember to use it no I did not come on come on more damage more damage give me the teleporter come on no oh an inferno potion is actually a great idea for dealing that last bit of damage but that requires lava fishing i do have a lava proof bug net but so help me the lava critters would not spawn and even when I did get one snail and one butterfly down here not a single fish would bite so I decided we just try it again no we are just so very close to victory though i know it can be done i just need to focus harder on using my demon sight you see with this if I time it just right I can bring it low enough that I can use the teleporters to launch several demon sights the wall will just run into on its own i just need to get the timing perfect okay recharge recharge yes yes yes oh we got it mobs are now 3.1 times their original speed and I ended up with the breaker blade not the best weapon in the world but it’s got high damage and knockback and with mobs this fast like I’ve mentioned knockback is a whole lot more helpful than it normally is i broke several altars allowing us to mine those sweet sweet hard mode ores where we can meet those sweet sweet hard mode enemies oh hello oh that’s so fast i can’t dodge it oh of course okay i think actually I end up knocking him back into me oh bye oh oh oh oh that’s so unfair oh that’s just that’s just not nice careful we can be safe from super fast spiders knock back is huge no one thing I’m considering is killing Duke Fishron first in hard mode making him significantly faster by killing the mechs first would definitely make him impossible and having his weapons to handle the mechs could be very well necessary but we still need some more gear and Souls of Knight are needed for a lot of what I’m after but he gone oh what what was that dude splicer going at mock speed dude nobody even saw that more crimson enemies please ouch not like that they shoot me without dude there’s no dodging it i managed to craft full titanium armor but my farming methods in the crimson were not going well i changed my weaponry around a little bit which helped but the icker stickers were just a menace also the best place I’d found to farm for souls of night happened to have a marble biome and medusas would not stop spawning i managed to collect a few souls of night but in one of the trips I realized it was raining so I could be farming for frost cores these might be better than titanium armor for a melee build i’m not really sure but I want to use ranger and melee gear so having a class that benefits both might be the way to go it also meant I could get an ice feather to make frost wings when I farm for souls and let’s hope for some wyverns oh well there one is oh boy oh man how do you dodge this need that perfect timing i need to anticipate when it’s coming before it’s coming oh oh it died in the distance 20 darn it that was not 20 i get a Nimus rod thank you all right thank Oh come on farming wyverns was significantly more difficult but even worse was killing the pirates oh ah ah ah oh that’s not good oh boy oh okay okay be careful just be so ultra careful and oh dude it’s just a machine gun the dead eyes oh that’s not the Oh that’s the pirate captain which I guess is normally a machine gun this is how you say no good um we’re cheesing i need uh if I can get a cheese set up somewhere well that started the process okay we’re in a box this is my box and it’s safe and it remained that way for the rest of the event very glad that this was at least an option with this event but I highly doubt we’ll have the ability to cheese future ones so those are probably already off the table but who knows if that’s also going to extend to the bosses we’re going to fight first D Fishron who I know is going to be stupid fast so I set up a couple teleporters that I plan on teleporting between for the fight this will certainly be necessary to have any hope of winning oh oh shoot oh no way there is no way duke would appear to be quite unbeatable which has me wondering if any of the other bosses available are beatable oh my goodness i don’t think he ever actually ever saw him bunch up where’d he go oh there he is oh shoot that is really hard to see he just appears oh no i’m going to see other mobs more than I’m going to see the destroyer oh you cannot dodge these lasers either they’re too fast you just have to hope of course I knew of course the other mobs this is not looking good skeletron Prime is the boss I think I should fear most if I can’t dodge his spinning attack then it’ll be impossible to beat this run so let’s see what he’s like and at first he was moving slowly like he normally does which means he must have been coded to only move at one speed interesting oh I thought oh look he’s coded to be only a certain speed we’re fine nope that was going to be my only hope but that’s undgeable i am not aware of a single cheese for Skeletron Prime not one let alone one that would work for that i wasn’t about to give up though so I set up some teleporters with a timer attached to teleport me every quarter of a second all right all right uh seizure warning photosensitivity warning um this is going to hurt everybody’s eyes it’s working all right we need to stop it so we can actually do damage during this part of course that’ be a stinking blood moon ruining the Oh well my eyes are cooked are there still things I could do to optimize probably but in the end this is the only strategy I can think of for all the boss fights that are ahead of me and that just doesn’t sound interesting watching me beat the rest of the game while having a seizure so I think we’re just going to call it there and deem the run unbeatable 3.1 time speed is the absolute max it would seem maybe even lower for certain bosses it was a good run but I failed but if you’d like to watch a video where I did succeed
