Which Stardew MASTERY Should You Choose?

Don’t know which mastery to choose? Lumi’s got you. Here’s my ultimate mastery guide. First off, the best way to acquire mastery points is basically just playing the game. I prefer to focus on mining as it’s very easy to grind. And I think I get a ton more books for XP while I mine. And I always begin with combat mastery purely because it unlocks trinkets. These trinkets give you various new combat powers that make it a lot easier to live in the mines and makes it a lot easier to grind mastery points. My favorite is the fairy box, which at max level heals you every 3.5 seconds and has a 120% healing power. You will never die, even with a small supply of food. Then you should choose farming mastery for the iridium scythe so you can harvest crops super quick, and most importantly, the statue of blessings offer insane buffs daily. You can get infinite energy for the day, a luck buff for the day, and more. The next is a tossup, but I normally will choose mining mastery for the other statue, the statue of the dwarf king. It gives you various mining buffs, letting you choose between two each day. Always, and I mean always, choose the bomb power whenever it’s available. It makes it so bombs can’t damage you at all. Skull Caverns runs are heavenly with this power. You can just bomb the floor to find the ladder, ignoring the enemies in your path. Next, foraging mastery. Because of the profit from mystic trees, firstly, you can surround your mushroom logs with mystic trees, basically guaranteeing purple mushrooms. Secondly, add a heavy topper to it and you’re producing mystic syrup every 3 days. You can just straight up sell it for money, but I like to trade with the raccoon for fairy dust. Using it in my basement to speed up my aged wine. Finally, fishing mastery because fishing sucks. What’s your favorite mystery?

here’s how i choose my masteries in stardew valley!!

  1. you guys should go follow me on tiktok BECUZZZ ily and because we’re close to 300k on there🄳🄳🄳

  2. I love combat mastery, prismatic hair is fun, and the parrot makes you rich when you run double activated dangerous mines with monster musk.

  3. I feel like your speaking in another language since I can't understand this new updates on Stardew valley I've stop playing for two years cuz of school now I can't stop playing cuz there's new things I need to know on this gameee😊

  4. I like the Ice rod for my trinket, being able to lock those fliers is place and wail on them is amazing. It’s also an helps with the crabs since it will target them before you even check.
Fairy would be great for the floor 100 no food challenge though.

  5. Once you have all skills at 10, every action that used to grant skill points now grants mastery points so you can play the game the way you like and you will level up all masteries, unlocking them in the order you prefer.

  6. Im deffinitelly choosing mining first, skull cavern can be an INSANE money maker, combine that with all the new perks like the statue and heavy furnace and the fact you get tons of xp from mining and its deffinitelly a great thing to get early. Farming is overated, scythe is nice but statue of blessings is okay and nit much else. Foraging is underated if you still need artifacts plus golden mystery boxes are awesome and mystic trees are great for mushroom farms. Trinkets are nice to have but not worth going for it that quickly.

  7. I chose fishing mastery first just because I made a lot of money from fishing and spent a good amount of time grinding fishing for mastery just because it’s easy and you can get a couple thousand a day just by fishing the entire time

  8. Fishing is awesome ESPECIALLY late game. Two cork bobbers on an advanced iridium rod with challenge bait, the extended family quest activated, and a seasoned seafoam pudding. Smoked Legend II goes CRAZY for gold, and is way more interactive (for me at least) than planting starfruit and waiting 72 days for it to be ready to sell.
I can usually pretty consistently get a perfect catch on every one in three legend fish, and usually get other catches with it only escaping once.
Assuming roughly 9 hooks per day, with the 3 day limit of the mission, I end up with 9 Iridium quality, and 10 gold quality Legend II's every day. With the angler profession and the artisan profession, smoking those fish nets you 535,500 gold per day, or 1,606,500 gold for the duration of the challenge. This isn't even considering the other fish you'd hook or treasure chest loot you'd get on the side.
And whenever the Qi Quest isn't available, I'll just fish lava eels in the volcano caldera for my money.
    Fishing is AWESOME (and fun!)

(If anyone looks into it and my math is off, please feel free to correct me)

  9. I won't lie i never even knew about mastery till i could get everything at once (i only recently started playing SV, sometime after 1.6 released), and only found out during my blind playyhrough cause i was going around chopping down trees in cindersap forest

  10. for console, farming is worse but i would usually get it second, fishing first because i find it easy and relaxing, usually watching something else while doing it

  11. Don’t call me a weirdo but I named my cow after you.. šŸ™ƒ anyways that’s the only thing I thought of. Lol šŸ˜‚šŸ’œ

  12. Meanwhile there’s me who pretty much goes in the opposite.

Fishing/Mining first because heavy furnace is really nice when you have rows on rows of furnaces late game

Fishing because advanced iridium rod is fun.

Then farming because of iridium scythe

    Foraging for the trees

And I don’t really use the new trinkets because I have an infinite supply of cheese and I find some of the powers more distracting

  13. Just play the game regularly, I completely forgot about the mastery thing so when I finally entered the little room I had unlocked all of them lol

  14. Aight, I'm ready to throw hand for the fishing slander. Talking seriously, fishing loses a lot of value once you have sprinklers and can creat decent sized farms. I usually fish like crazy only in Spring and Summer of the first year. Mr. Concerned Ape should add something new that has to do with fishing to make it more worth it during mid and end game
