I may be wrong but I don't think skeleton is required? The wall of flesh doesn't require skeleton dead and the lunatic cultists spawn outside so I don't think you would need to defeat Skelton
On 3ds u gotta beat plantera before golem, literally will not let you spawn golem without first beating the big plant. And since you need to beat the mechs to beat plantera, that adds an extra four. But cultist and moon lord didnt exist yet. Golem is the final boss of the version though so its still 5 mandatory bosses. Unless you count ocram but like you can fight ocram at mechs progression so like i wouldnt count it

Try this:
1. Kill wof (skeleton not needed)
2 mechdusa (hehe)
3. Plant
4. Golem
5. Moonie
And THATS glitchless
I fight dearclops just because I love the soundtrack
And cuz I love don't starve
