As a bedrock player who just recently switched to Java I was blown away by putting blocks in your off hand. What do you mean I don't have to switch between two inventory slots every time I want to dig straight up?! This is so much faster
Also, try use ng wind charges. They launch you like 3 blocks.Also when you mace it just stops you. Whereas in java it launches you up so you can keep macing. Also wind charges launch us around 10 blocks up.
As cool as the sounds, realistically most bedrock players can't live without a shield so they're not really ever going to use the concept of having it offhand except for maybe when they build or something, but otherwise not
I so badly want to be able to dual wield. I would love to sweep edge. I'm glad that we have the Shields and everything else but we need more full access to the hand. So I completely agree I hope it happens
Why wouldnāt it make sense on mobile? Itās not like thereās an extra button to use the off hand-ed item on Java? The only extra button/key for that on Java is the one that lets u put items in the offhand without the inventory which could just not be added to mobile and be a thing that u could change smth to on console or not use it at all. Their reasoning is pretty dumb T_T
Mojang sucks at making the controls on mobile like look at zzz and genshin they way more buttons on screen but still esay to use i don't think devs even play on mobile

It works the same we have buttons customisation. We mobile players can definitely get use to off hand controls
as a bedrock player, i dont really use the offhand slot unless i use maps so i dont think multiple stuff in offhand slot is useful

whenever i play bedrock i get SO mad about the lack of torches in my offhand. i dont use a shield so i always have them in my offhand in java
