    i believe this playstyle is expanded upon in calamity, if you wanna do a part 2. but i play calamity and thorium together, it might be thorium. oh im stupid, it says with armor, not with contact damage. i think it does for both, but i meant contact damage

    The best way i know to deal with the vortex pillar is by mining under ground and entering but staying away from the middle that way things don’t get spawned in with you then dig small hole that forbidden armor or a nimbus staff can be used through

    I wonder now… I saw for a second where chlorophite armor crystal shot enemy when it was not in a block but you were on the other side of the wall (or ceiling for you to be specific). Knowing usual cheese for vortex pilar – hole-up and summon, wouldn't this solve itself if you hole-up just under the pillar? Well… Maybe for pilar you would need to go out if you couldn't shoot tornado through 1 block hole.

    the 3 armors almost work like 3 classes
    cactus is close range, like melee
    forbidden armor uses mana, like mage
    chlorophite relies on the targeting of another entity, like summoner

    4:25 The way you say “[the Angler]’s not at this ocean” implies he only spawns on one of the two oceans. Is that true? The wiki doesn’t mention anything about that, and I’d think he spawns like any other rescuable NPC: when conditions are met (being in the ocean biome), he may spawn at any time. If he doesn’t spawn, can’t you just wait around or move around until he does?

    6:35 my current farm is only pots, wanted to raise all the herbs by one and putting them on the platform planters didn’t allow that. It’s a huge farm, so I spent like 6 hours mining the surface for clay lol.

    The set bonus from the forbidden armor enherits summon and magic damage buffs, so in theory, you could stack the summoner and mage emblems for +30% damage. That might be enough to make it possible in expert mode?

    17:38 You can make floor of the arena 2 blocks thick (maybe 3 for sure) so WoF lower eye can be more stable❕

    Apparently platforms work's just fine to. I see it in the ”…PTL #8" video from Wild lmao.

    You know you could have just buried yourself for the vortex pillar, right? They can't shoot through blocks, so you could have just put a tornado on the surface and let that whittle them down.
