I dont understand people saying the scourge is better than vampire knives, even tho it is nerfed at least it is a weapon you can use as any class all the way to moonlord while the most use you can get from scourge is while faming the eclipse for the BHS
My favs "Melee" weapons are seen as inferior and I hope they never change
5 Drippler Crippler – contreversial to be seen as inferior but compare to duke fishron flail its lacking
4 Northpole – I also love the Daybreak, but I much prefer the snow
3 Scourge – No, Vampire Knives are not better unless you use Warding rather than Menacing, I know Vampire knives are more utility than dps, but use that same logic to a glass cannon enjoyer like me and see how that holds up
2 Flying Dragon and Starlight – Sidegrades but I would go with either over Influx or Terrablade
1 Cutlass and Keybrand – more of a Nostalgia weapon since the first time I beat the game is with true melee(back when duke was the final boss) and even at max beat 6 dukes in the same fight, in that playthrough I basically used 5 swords(Copper Shortsword, Lights Bane, Nights Edge, Cutlass and Keybrand), tbf idk how I did it, maybe because expert and mastermodes have not been added yet, but I sure know that I qas frustarated over several fights

The vampire knives glaze is crazy it is not that good just get better at dodging so you can put out more damage
