On most new saves I grind dust sprites for the burglar ring, then keep going through levels 15-30 and kill as many grubs as I can. Each one has a 1/100 chance to drop an ancient seed (1/200 without the burglar ring) so, if you're lucky, you can get multiple ancient seeds per day, in your first spring

500 dust sprites is a lot 😠but its worth it though 🥹
Keep in mind, on AVERAGE the burglar ring drops double loot, so even if you don't get as much loot from onw monster, it will even out
