Hello everyone, I build this farm in my oceanblock two world. I spawnproofed almost the entire fortress and the afk spot ist about 110 blocks up with an elevator, I am standing on an elevator block.
Behind the fan is a hopper clock with 10 items to activate it in intervalls, thought that might help. I have a hopper collecting drops and funneling them into drawers. My problem is that mobs dont spawn at all.
The plattform is build at an intersection at the exact height of the fortress. Sometimes I get spawns but I should have the entire mobcap to me shouldnt I?
Striders dont count as they dont cound towards the hostile mob cap. I hope that someone can help me or has any idea on what to do. Thanks in advance

Not sure about the nether, but mobs will only spawn below the water in the overworld. Maybe the same is happening here and you need to have the farm inside the lava. Might be worth checking out.
What design are you using, how many floors? Your picture tells me nothing :O
