Episode 8 of pushing terraria’s limits is here. After hundreds of hours I was ready to enter hardmode, I came up with a crazy strategy to beat the wall involving once again our friend HONEY.

I feel like it'd be faster to kill the wall of flesh normally than it'd take for you to even setup the honey
The desert biome get corrupted/crimson(ed)
The fastest and yeah in an hour a whole desert biome can be corrupted or Hallowed even
you are NOT an og terrarian for not using potions. Back in the day before hard mode was a thing and the wall of flesh was the end boss we RELIED on potions. You didn't fight any boss in the game except MAYBE the eye without potions
bullet speed is velocity, not speed. you can turn sluggy and grubby into buggy by using them to make buggy statues and shimmering them back to buggy. also farming while seating down and next to a gnome makes your fishing luck better. you could've put a one block layer of shimmer below the honey using bubble to bounce the stars back making your initial strategy viable.
I don’t get it, the buggy farm isn’t better than the ladybug farm on a ladybug day is it?
Why didn't he just use the infinite shimmer bucket ._.
Fun to watch. It was like a ruth goldberg machine. So much work, so many moving parts, and comedically a marginal effect. Much appreciated, I found that to be quite entertaining. 👌

All you need to do is set up a Corruption/Crimson/Jungle farm in the water. Being any of the three biomes will increase spawn rate, and being all three will increase it even more. I set up a farm like that Years ago in one of my worlds.

20:10 whether the idea was thought of from the very beginning or not, its still a brillant idea. Thats what happens with "trial and error" and a lot of times the next adjustment to try doesn't come to mind right away. You have to think on it a bit. You saw a problem (the hungry), adjusted your plan (stand farther back) and got the result you were looking for (defiling the WoF). Don't downplay yourself!
Also, the fact that the lasers WoF shoots get slowed down in honey which gives you so much more time to dodge is such an awesome side effect!

Also may I suggest making a huge sci-fi teleporter room that connects all important places on the map?

bro, Wild, speed = USE SPEED, not BULLET SPEED, the stars are unaffected, it's the cannon that's faster

love everything except apologizing for "loud sound" when you shoot a star like 1. It's NOT LOUD 2. JUST LOWER THE VOLUME INGAME – OR *LOWER THE AUDIO FROM THE GAME WHILE EDITING*
I'm glad you did the bug farm cause I learned a bunch, but if you do enough fishing quests you can farm enough crates to never run out of the highest tier bait (50% bait power)
A bunch of fishing quest rewards help you fish more effectively, sonar potions let you ignore some fish to preserve bait, crate potions get you more crates, you can get more bait from crates than you spend to fish them up
The big downside is doing fishing quests each day for a while, but that shouldn't be an issue in a world you're spending this much time in
⭐️ why not make a lava boulder arena?
if you craft the grubbies and sluggies into bug statues and then shimmer them, they always decraft into buggies, making your bait farm so much better
