Been rizzing up Penny on my first playthrough and out of NO WHERE Abigail forces me to play Prairie King with her, like what?! We beat the first level together, like we’re the dream team, and it was beautiful…ugh…now what do I do…

  1. I got a really nice cut scene with Abigail when I saw her playing the flute ? In the rain, and my character pulled out a mini harp and we did a duet in the rain 🥺

Abigail is such a cute wife, she brings back bombs and food for me

  2. Abigail might seem like a more interesting character but…put another way, would you rather:

marry a near teenage girl who still lives with her parents because she can’t get her life together and afford a place on her own?

    Or

would you rather marry a girl who lives with her mom to support her mom and is more mature and actually helps tutor the local children?

Of course it’s just a game so don’t overthink it, but, I’m in my first playthrough and that’s what’s preventing me from going further with Abigail.

It just sort of feels.. off.

Despite being a 30 year old woman who games, this scene just seemed appropriate since she’s a child and a kid was like “hey adult help me pass this lvl am baby”. It reinforced my feeling that Abigail is a child.
Same with Sam. On my first play-through I married Sam and when he said he didn’t know how to cook because his mother did all the cooking I divorced him immediately.

Edit: this is my personal feelings towards Abi and Sam, if you love them that’s fine! I’m not attacking you by seeing them as a children.

Edit 2: still getting downvoted despite the message I included. Don’t be a toxic person in the SDV fandom. I dislike Shane, downvote me for it if you don’t like people sharing opinions on fictional characters in a game, I won’t downvote you for liking him though, because I want fellow fans of the game to feel free to share. xx

  4. I like Abigail as a character but I refuse to romance her. She’s super whiny and has not-like-other-girls vibes. Like I get why she acts the way she does (all my homies hate Pierre) but she’s too much. My girl Leah would never
