Nade palm ring is a must need for me and also on my save I have hero of the valley and sometimes I’ll go to Qis room to check my perfection and it’ll be gone but then a couple days later it’s back
The bug sword is easy to get in the start, if you are farming for an early ancient seed
My fave is the insect head weapon.
Most useful early.
Then, I like the Slime ring. Super great in the SKull cavern.
My favourite reward is the sweet 11% bonus to Perfection from completing all the targets.
The slime charmer ring. I won't go in Smell Cavern without it.
I combined the Slime and Napalm ring. It's very helpful in the mines.

The bug sword is overlooked, it is my mandatory since it can carry you all the way to the desert.
… For a second I thought you said that the slime ring prevents lines from breeding you
How does one get a frog follower
The slime charmer ring is great if you want passive income with a slime hutch and slime egg press. You can harves the slime sacks and petrified slimes while taking no damage. I gets better once you unlock yhe forge. You can combine it with another ring to get the effects of both rings.
Insect head carried me until floor 50…. fuck the desert.
Bug head is probably the best early game sword, it doesn't cost gold and is easy to farm for it (plus you'll need the bug meat for bait). Second one in priority should be burglar ring, since its a must for coal mining
napalm+slime charmer and burglar+iridium band ring is my setup :3 crabshell is also amazing but just under those four on my priority list so it didn't make the cut for my game style, but i definitely recommend it and love how popular it is
Insect head got me ridiculously far into the mines. It will always have a special place in my heart.
You’d have to hold me at gunpoint to get me to kill ONE shadow/void person, let alone 150 of them. I absolutely refuse to do it in my play throughs lol
The Insect Head has gotta be in my top 3 at least, after getting it, it was my main weapon until I got my first Prismatic Shard

The Napolm ring is a game changer. Especially when you get access to the forge. I always merge it with the burgler ring or the lucky ring.
Napalm and crab shell are what I’m shooting for atm.

I used to neglect the duggies, but their loot is useful in its own right, even without the Guild reward.
Just to clarify, burglars ring doesn’t have an increased chance to drop double loot but rather a chance to roll the loot table twice, sort of similar but a bit different and it ends up being better. For example if you have a wheel of names and what name you get is an item in game the burglars ring doesn’t have a chance to double what ever you got but rather to roll that wheel again, you may still get double items if it lands on the same thing twice. 😊
Slime Charmer is honestly one of the best rewards, especially when you get to Ginger Island and there’s slimes just wandering around all willy-nilly. Combining it with a ring that you use often is really useful when farming in the cavern or the mine for items.
I enjoy the vampire ring lol planning on combing it with the napalm ring when i get it and make it to the forge
The insect blade super helpful right at the beginning. It's an ugly looking sword but worth it until you can get something better.
