The Rarest Occurrence in Terraria, at least I think, is the pillars dropping the highest amount of fragments possible. The lowest is also very rare, but not as unlikely as the highest. This was not intended to be my next video, but this topic came up after getting very unlucky and I just had to ask why I had never seen such a high drop rate in Terraria, and well, now I know.

    For those that are curious, the absolute maximum amount of fragments that can theoretically be dropped from a pillar is 5,180. Playing on expert or master on a multiplayer server with 255 players (the hard-coded cap), rolling a 20 for the initial roll, and getting all 20 4-rolls, will end up giving you 20*(4+255), or 20*259, which equals 5,180.

    Fun fact: in 1,300 hours, my luckiest moment was pulling 2 Amber Mosquitoes back to back — and early game I got Eucalyptus Sap from 3–5 trees!
