i do gem birds just by going through all possible combinations. technicaly there is 5*4*3*2=120 combinations but i usually get it at 10-20 time, it's not that hard really. you just need to go through it systematically so you don't get confused. maybe it's a little cheating but much faster than looking for birds.

I'm boutta have everything done for year 1 in fall if I could get a nautilus shell, id have to get to skull cavern and get 10 iridium bars and go to ginger island and find all the walnuts then get the dangerous skull cavern or danger in deep quest cause they spawn on the under water levels

Useful tip on bird gems quest( that i did and i'm proud of)
If you dont want to wait for rain or dont have the totem,i was only got one of the gem and the position,so i just place the rest of them with my own gem,there is 16 possible combination if you already fill one of them
