Fixing Useless Terraria Items
In this video, we talk about some possible solutions for a handful of Terraria items that I deemed to be “useless.” Although there aren’t really any useless items, some of them fall short and become not worth the effort.

I would absolutely love if Rudolph got a buff as they're such a cute mount and I thought they were so cool back then but now they're just so useless. Even in normal mode it's just so much easier to get the UFO mount, I feel like quite a few of the Ice Queen's drops need some sort of a buff.

I personally think they should just add the fall damage negation to the Terraspark boots and make it need an obsidian/lucky horseshoe for the very last step. Why? Because that's all you need for the Terraspark boots to reach their zenith of potential… Until you enter hardmode and access to wings with a flight time greater than the time it takes to realize that hellfire treads are a waste to craft.

You could add in a new item that is the ballons with an obsidian horseshoe instead of a normal one, you could either craft it directly or add the obsidian skull to the bundle with the horseshoe. Might be strong, but they already kinda added the obsidian skull and the horseshoe together anyway

I think if they switched the Hotline Fishing Hook with the Lavaproof Fishing Hook, it would be better. So the accessory doesn't invalidate the need for the tool before you can get the tool. It makes more sense for the accessory to be a rare drop from the angler, since every other fishing accessory is. Similarly, they could also put the tool in Shadow Chests, similar to how the Fiberglass Fishing Rod is in Jungle Chests.

There a handful of items in this game that are still nice but not quite as useful as they could be, at least compared to all the other items. I'm going to attempt to spice them up a little bit.
