You need to also talk to her. It can be easy to miss! You give them a gift and they react, but that doesn’t actually count as talking. You can also kiss your spouse
If you dont actually talk, you love a significant amount of points (20).
A loved gift is normally 80 points, but any friendship with your spouse is cut by a third, so you are only gaining 52 points. If you don’t talk afterwards it means you only gain 32 points per day. If you do talk you gain 65 points.
A heart is 250 points
