– A Piston
– A Button
– Four Armor Stands
– Four Blocks of your choice for display (my daughter chose Melons)
– Half a Stack of Temporary Blocks
– A Bucket of Water
– A Composter
– – –
– Facing one cardinal direction, place an Armor Stand in a one deep hole, making sure that it is not diagonal, place your display block in the hand and set the position to 5.
– Facing the Armor Stand, create a channel so that when you place your water source the stand slides backwards into the block behind it.
– Place your water source and wait for the Stand to stop moving. Remove the water.
– Place some temporary blocks so that you have a block floating above the first Stand.
– Face a new cardinal direction and repeat previous steps. Break the block under the Stand and allow it to fall onto the block with the first Stand.
– Repeat this two more times, changing directions each time, until you have all four stands in position 5, holding your display block and resting against the block behind it. They should all be facing inwards, looking at each other if you will.
– Carefully (bc if you switch Stand positions or the block they hold, it can be a pain to fix without starting over) use your temp blocks to build up so that you can place a Composter above the stands. Place a Piston above the Composter, facing downwards and power it once so that it covers the top half of the Stands.
I can post pictures of each step if you prefer 🙂 (sorry for any formatting, on mobile)
