I liked what the guy had going in terms of materials and wanted to keep that largely the same. That being said, what I ended up going for was a more ski resort style.

- seating for 4 at the bar
- 4 guest rooms on the second floor
- loft space for storage
And yes, I did get his blessing to go with the new design. Showed it off to him and everything before I built it.
