out of every single block in your world 1 dirt block is the dirtiest block. and you found it. good job.

I’ve never seen it and I’ve put a couple hundred hours in 1.4 Terraria (where it was put into the game)
In a large world there’s 9, in a medium world 6, and in a small world 3. Your chances of any given dirt block you mine being the dirtiest is real low, Terraria wiki says about one in a million but they also don’t source that claim, so I might take it with a grain of salt. Definitely an awesome find, I hope to stumble across it one day.

I swear a friend of mine stopped playing one of our shared worlds because I’d found The Dirtiest Block, lol
I’ve played over 3600 hours and have started at least 55-some-odd worlds and I’ve found it accidentally at least five times, plus the time I found it “on purpose” by using terramap.
one of the times I found it by randomly digging was in my first drunk world. I know I asked here somewhere in one of the weekly threads if the drunk world was more likely to have The Dirtiest Block or if I’d just gotten lucky….
