Did you add mods and run a save file that you started before putting in mods? Because that doesn’t look like the right location for the Mines entrance.

This seems to be a fairly common problem since the 1.6 update. I don’t know if they changed the way things work at the edge of maps or what, but a lot of people have posted similar problems. Also with the frog cave and mushroom caves on Ginger Island.
You could try bombs to see if that shakes it free, but probably your best bet is to restart the day without saving.
