

Hi! I’m putting together a Forge 1.20.1 modpack with about 120 mods (I’ll add screenshots of the full list). Some of the mods are pretty heavy, like Alex’s Caves, Ice and Fire, Cataclysm, Create + addons, Ars Nouveau, Dungeons Arise, Nullscape, Incendium, and others.
I currently play alone, but the game still crashes randomly from time to time. Because of this, I’m thinking of renting a server so the modpack can run more smoothly, but I’m not sure how many gigabytes of RAM would be recommended.
If anyone could tell me:
-How much RAM a server should ideally have for a modpack like this
-Whether some of these mods are known to conflict or cause instability
-Any recommended performance mods for 1.20.1 Forge
-Anything I should fix or change so the game stops crashing
I’d really appreciate the help!
