no, it needs to be vertical gaps on both sides to hell. it will go around the dungeon as it will be able to pass through stone. also, you can’t just do 3 as thorns can reach the other side. either make a 5-wide or add non-infectible blocks on the borders

No but the corruption that generated at the start of hard mode will ruin your effort lol. Dont listen to those youtubers, instead of quarantine the evil biomes, quarantine your houses, settlement.

That one, probably cant spread (maybe there was something catchy ıf you have background walls at gaps); but dont forget the V shaped spread will hit your world while entering hardmode

I have a conspiracy theory that all of these posts are unreal. Like, c’mon, you don’t even notice the corruption/crimson spread until later in the game, by which time you are likely to already beat WoF and experience the V.
