that’s a bee hive and i reccommend getting boots+cloud in a bottle first along with building a 3 level platform arena right above it before attemtping to fight the boss. boss isn’t that difficult but your gear might not suffice since you don’t have enough mobility

Thats a beehive, you can spawn a Queen Bee by destroying the larvas inside.
Queen Bee is a bit stronger than Eye of Cthulhu. If you havent fight the Eye yet, you should do that first.
