Four things, mostly:
– put a coop with a duck close by, they’ll occasionally jump in.
– fish from it. You’re on the forest map; the pond fish will include the rare woodskip fish which you’ll need for one of the bundles.
– during spring you can plant rice close to it, and if within 3 tiles it will be automatically watered. In summer, taro root will also work, but you may not yet have access to those as they are found on Ginger Island.
