The mistake you made with the Abigail's Flower is that you didn't right click on the enemies you were intending to kill. That's how targeting is done when there's no whip iirc

I know they're named different things to avoid copyright but they match the challenge criteria.
If anything, I’ve learned in my terria gameplay is to always carry a pressure plate in your hotbar, you can swap to it to see if there’s traps nearby. It also helps with deadman’s chests to disarm.

Shark Tooth Necklace is an amazing accesorie for this type of challenges, especially for Ranger weapons since the defense of the bosses almost always eats a good chunk of your weapons damage, especially low damage and high firing rate
