if you got the wood for it, organize how you want! ^^ i always start off with just one and kick myself later for how disorganized everything is when i inevitably have to add more 😬

its completely fine i have a whole shed dedicated to chests
each have their own category

I wouldn’t even know any other way. I organize them by cathegory like fish, minerals, flowers and etc

Chests are the optimal strategy, but I put some of my chests near my workbench so that it auto grabs from them. I also keep some next to my kiln for easier access. I also color code them as it appears you have.

The problem i have with too many chests is i duplicate, like 2 chests are both using a space for X item, and then scooping then all up to make something, it gets me.
But really, the most endearing thing about stardew is theres no right and wrong way, you just do what works for you, and correct whenever something doesnt!
