For those who want to learn how to build, I recommend watching other YouTubers who build. Not tutorials, just everyday Minecraft videos where YouTubers like 7B737 or ACookieGod build big builds. I watched YouTubers like them for over 6 years and finally decided to try to build, and this was the result

Well you’re off to a great start. The layout and general structures look good. I’d look into learning about how to do gradients for the walls, so they’re not all a solid block, it will help especially for larger builds. I do like the white with brown framing colors though. Keep it up!
Large ≠ Good
If you’re new, I’d start with smaller builds and really try to make the whole thing interesting to look at. Learn small build techniques and learn to use them on a larger scale.
This is so cool I like the blocks you used!
We believe it. It looks nice, but does not look like something built by an experienced builder. Block choice and texturing is very odd, and shapes are not very refined at all.
Wow
If you’re recommending advice to learn building it’d be far more preferable to join a dedicated building community like the bakery or builders refuge.
You’ll have more exposure to new advanced techniques, styles, and tools that most youtubers only show the surface of.
This would be a really impressive survival mode castle. But in creative, scale doesn’t mean that you collected more resources or spent more time placing blocks, so it’s what you do with it that counts. And while I think this is a really good base/foundation, it’s just too repetitive and a little under detailed. I think you could do a lot more with this design, especially if your aspiration is this big off the bat.
I see a lot of potential in you buddy, keep doing what you love
your advice is very poor for learning any skill (assuming you are not doing it for fun, and actually are looking for active improvement); you should certainly look at the masters do it, and practice a healthy amount and look for constructive criticism. though not a perfect analogy, watching an everyday average person attempt to draw a portrait will only get you so far.
