Most of the early development under Notch was literally “random bullshit go”. If you are angry that modern Mojang promised something and didn’t delivered – oh boy, you don’t know Notch was bad in this.

I won’t be surprised if the current state of the game would have been equivalent to just downloading random mods and trying to figure them out by yourself

I only think the direction of the game would be more in line with my sort of playstyle, I don’t think the quality of the individual features would be as good
