The statue overlooks an area I called “Beau’s Farm” where I had a named horse, “Beau”, who would hang out in his pasture / barn. It’s silly, but he was a good horse.

He was about 22 years old, he liked typical horse stuff – grazing, eating his Mushys, he loved carrots and apples, he loved being in pasture, he loved being brushed, and he changed the lives of my fiancé & her sisters by bringing them closer together to help care for him.

He was a rescue, saved from being culled after being found extremely malnourished from his previous home. He spent his last years with us happy, content, and loved.

Rest in Peace, Beau.

I don’t know why, because I’ve never had a horse, but I feel the connection one would have with a horse would be a lot deeper than with any other animal/pet.

Sorry for your loss! That tribute is amazing!
