She’s consuming so much food every day just to keep her energy bar up. She’s determined to get loads of hay for her chickens and sell the rest! I told her there are other ways. Idk, y’all. I guess we all enjoy Stardew Valley differently.

As a SV player, I feel very, very uncomfortable. How can I explain it?? It’s just, that field of hundreds of wheat stalks is just silently staring at and judging me … just JUDGING … secretly knowing I’m sad when the villagers don’t get rained on, all because I have to water my own small garden. 🫥

  1. Edit: I was so focused on the fact there’s “just so much wheat!!!” that I used “just” too many times in the second paragraph. Apologies for the redundancy. I know it’s there but I can’t edit it out. 😭

That’s exactly how I feel when I walk past my tiny farm and think about all the crops I could be growing. I’d probably just tell her.. Hey, you don’t need to overwork yourself to enjoy Stardew, but lowkey I’d also be in awe of her energy.. that’s some next level farmer dedication.

  3. thats me with melon seeds every summer before having my fields automated. gotta give penny her weekly double gold melon :3

  4. At least if she pulls it off, it’ll be over in a few days. “So what are you planting next?” may be an easier conversation to have.

This is so incredibly wholesome I can’t even, and that level of dedication is honestly impressive.

  6. Nothing beats the first time experience playing the game, especially without knowing the “meta”.

  7. I have a nibling who spends every spare gold buying sugar from Pierre, eating it all in the village square and then going home to bed.

If questioned about this, they get pretty cranky and say “I am having the life I want”.

I feel your pain. Watching my kids participate in my hobbies and do it (to me) wrong is so annoying but I never want to discourage them so I just take deep breaths while they get stuck in the geometry or axe random villagers

I would be immediately tired with doing this. She’s on a next level! As long as she’s happy then that’s what matters anyway.

Tgis was me before I found out by accident that upgrading my watering can meant I could water more crops at once…
