Overlooking a historic market square in my European inspired island city-state, Tuff Cookie bakery has served fresh baked goods to the locals for generations. With the city's rapid industrialisation and boom of the tourism industry, the bakery has adopted many modern machines in its kitchen, increasing production, but locals argue, at the cost of its authenticity.

Pics 3-7: The second floor houses the shop's kitchen: a giant dough mixer, a mechanical oven, a conveyor belt and the copper golems working it all
Pic 8: The third floor houses the owner's living space: a bedroom, an office and a family sourdough starter securely sealed in a copper chamber
