  1. Some block variation would go a long way, you could use deepslate bricks for shadows under the tower edges, otherwise you can mix stone, andesite, tuff, cracked stone brick, mossy stone brick, or any number of other colors to show wear, variations in materials, or lighting effects. Flaring out the base of the towers would also help add depth. I love the shape so far, it looks awesome!

Dont texture it, first improve the structure. Texturing will not make it look better in that state

I have some cracked stone brick in there already it’s not really showing in the pic to well I am about to add some more and try out the other suggestions thanks everyone

  4. Texturing is the obvious answer everyone will give you. However, I think fixing the overall structure would be more important. The roof doesn’t really scream “medieval castle” and reminds me more of a house. The towers feel a little short and stubby. Overall it just feels a little too cozy and not quite a home for royalty the way a castles is supposed to.

  5. Vary your towers out, and add some archer spots, vary the height, raise the back 2 to be taller than the front

Focus less on its details and more on figuring out the vibe you want and exaggerating it.

  7. That’s a cute castle, i can say one thing for sure. The bridge is very small compared to the rest of the castle but that’s good. The small banners also indicate that the scale of the castle should be seen as huge, so just add a few small towers and more small things, that are an appropriate size compared to the bridge and the effect will be seen better which makes the castle more interesting.
