Warding should go on every accessory no matter the difficulty or intended class. Even mage would be better served spamming pre-prepared mana potions than using mana increasing accessories.
Doesn't using full Valhalla give you more Regen then swapping out the helm for the Squire's for no reason? The set bonus on Valhalla gives +4 regen, the Squire's only affords +2 EDIT: Apparently it comes out to the same, but the Valhalla Knight's Helmet still gives 7 more defense- Why aren't you using the Valhalla Knight's Helmet????
