But tbh I try not to do long mining hauls til I have fortune 3, which is easier to get than most people realize
Also, can’t wait till you discover small, medium, or large iron or copper veins.
Found my first medium iron vein using chunk base on my hardcore world and these veins are not rare in the slightest. (They’re actually not hard to find w/o chunk base. They only like to spawn completely surrounded by tuff & deepslate. It’s actually rare for them to spawn near open caves & mineshafts (both have to be really low in deepslate, like -35s to -40s) and tuff is actually insta-mineable too, so find a tuff vein and go nuts.
Using f3 on them & I have 40+ stacks of raw iron & the vein isn’t even finished yet. Converted them to raw iron blocks to save room. Thank god for the tuff block variants bc I got 2 l chests full of em.
Iron farms truly are obsolete now lol.
They’re purely aesthetics now, basically lol.

Did you break all the amethyst?! You don’t mine the amethyst that have crystals on them. You make them free on each side. And make a safe path towards them. Amethyst crystals keep growing on them and once they are full growth you mine the crystals and afterwards the crystals grow back as long as you don’t mine the block itself.
