So, this Terraria weapon doesn’t suck now… Terraria 1.4.5 the Bigger and Boulder update is finally here! And includes so much stuff from all areas of the game. Included in this are a bunch of buffs and nerfs to existing weapons. Today we’re looking at one of the biggest transformations of the lot, made to the Keybrand. A previously pretty mid weapon, is now a potential beast for the melee class. Hope you enjoy!

    We need kids to play terraria, Minecraft and hytale in the big 2026 cause honestly weapon reviews are back but most kids rn are either on brainrot, or Roblox 😭😭

    I always run 3 weapons. 2 sort of main weapons and 1 support/easy/fun weapon. This weapon is perfect for this role. I have used it a fair bit. I did very much like it. I also LOVE the faseblades! This weapon mechanic is great!

    Only downside, sometimes I trow it, forget about it. Then I click it. But my weapon takes 5 seconds to fly towards me because I used pylons and my weapon is on the other side of the map lol

    Just occurred to me how useful phaseblades, phasesabers and keybrands are for every level of OOA now. Bring two of each and just leave them in the ground to take out most of the waves.

    FINALLY Keybrand buffed Kingdom Hearts W. Though it sucks that they didn't make it attack like a keyblade (would have been awesome if it had combo attacks, limit break, etc)

    I started a melee charchter 3 weeks ago and this update arrived in the middle of them xD. And all classes are benefited from this update especially summoner and melee . I hope they keep the great work .also i am glad you reviewed a reworked weapon i see leaving the sword in the ground is very useful .

    Seems like it could work well in Mob farms aswell (didn't test it).
    Just use the basic Lava Pyramid and push enemies into one corner with conveyors (or just stand under it) where you plant the weapon in one corner or the center (depending if you use conveyors) dealing consistent damage while the lava is helping as well.
    Just stay in a room beneath the pyramid and collect your items instead of just getting coins and could work well with Souls!
