The new textures just look washed out and have lost virtually all definition. Really hope this gets reversed in a future update.

Do you hate Java edition? Or something cause that’s a Java feature. and use a different log, like oak, birch, or anything else.

  2. Maybe im just colourblind but the new ones are a lot easier to differentiate so I personally really like the change

  3. The lower image appears to be the normal stripped spruce texture. Are you sure this isn’t from a texture pack you have?

  4. Am I missing something here? The bottom looks normal and so much better, you can actually tell the woods apart, the top one just looks like the same block but with a diff orientation

uhh… the photo you posted literally shows the opposite? like, old textures all looking the same?

  6. Meanwhile I’ve been using a texture pack to fix it for years, I’m glad it looks like javas now

Lol the java players getting confused with what exactly happened

Fyi: bedrock’s stripped spruce log texture was darker compared to java. But now mojang has fixed it and made the texture similar to java

  8. gonna go against the grain here a bit but i do kind of like how stripped spruce looks right now. it’s just a nice shade of brown and works well for my cozy builds that tinge warmer in the interiors, so it’ll be weird to adjust to the brighter colour (although i do think making the dark oak actually DARK looks nicer imo) :/ now, why they were even different in the first place, though, is beyond me
