Is it the fear of losing your items or the mobs themsekves scare you? Because if you dont want to lose your items you can always play with keepinventory on!

  2. exposure therapy is the answer:

    go on creative

give yourself the level of armor and weapon youd have on a survival playthrough

    turn off creative

    go running around

    ???

    success

I think part of the fear is a subconscious attention to your items, you’re scared of the risk of fighting the mob. I think even in your main playthrough, you should turn on keep inventory for a bit and see how you feel.

it will still be scary, the fear isnt going to switch off, but at least there isnt going to be a strong negative feeling when you die and losing your items. you still need to exposure therapy it

  3. Mhh maybe you should do a little tweaked way of beating it first ..
Give yourself a Netherite Armor with Prot. IV Enchants and try to face a skeleton in a 1v1, take some hits, understand the more cool you react the easier you can dodge or engage it in battle. Go through all the common mobs 🙂

For the ender dragon, maybe check out some easy tutorials to slay it 🙂 Final step would be the wither.

After that learn how you get the protection enchantments the easiest way (I’d say Villager Trades with Liberian + Emerald Trades for Sticks on, correct me if I’m wrong.)

  4. It’s just a game. Realistically all they are, are just moving cylinders with a model just playing animations. Plus you can always have keep inventory on if you don’t want to lose your stuff

hi! i was also quite scared of hostile mobs and i would get anxiety any time i came across one. i still jump out of my skin when a creeper blows up behind me and i avoid going into caves by myself because im too anxious.

i think what helped me the most was exposure. and not being afraid to die over and over again. it’s alright to die in the game, you’ll respawn. it’s frightening when it happens and i still panic trying to get my stuff (especially now with netherite armor and i haven’t gotten all achievements so i wont turn keep inventory on). but it’s one of those things that you have to keep putting yourself through until it’s just another thing instead of something scary.

a good way to do this is to stop sleeping at night and go out and fight mobs instead. if you’ve got a good set of armor, at least full iron, then you’ll notice that mobs don’t really do as much damage as it seems they do! and also turn down the volume, sometimes the music and sounds make it more frightening. make sure you can still hear, but not enough to be so immersive.

get a set of diamond armor enchanted with protection 4, unbreaking 3, mending, and some extras on your boots like feather falling 4. go in the end with a diamond sword with sharpness 5 and a bow with infinity for the towers, and you can just go straight up to the dragon when she goes in the middle and hit her there. you really don’t take much damage with the armor!

you can always practice in creative before you do it on survival, or you can turn on easy mode first.

it’s okay to be scared (some comments will be mean about it but just ignore those) but it does get easier with time! i’m definitely not a combat player but i hate creative mode and like doing builds in survival. it just takes me a bit longer to progress but that’s okay! it’s also less scary playing with a friend!

  7. Whenever you go into dark places bring at least iron armor, 64 torches, and 64 steak or pork or chicken. Shields are also nice. Just start bashing in the heads of the monsters.

Gear up! Weapon up and you got this soldier ! It’s so much fun once you get over the fear! Don’t worry about it, it’s a game and if you lose all your stuff everything is replaceable ! I love to battle mobs even tho I’m not the best! Or start from afar and use a bow and arrow, American sniper that shit!!! You can do it!!!

  9. the more you avoid what scares you, the more the fear persists. as with anything else in life, you just have to confront it anyway. in small managable doses.

  10. Do you enjoy fighting mobs? Would you enjoy fighting the dragon? Because if not then don’t bother. I play on peaceful

  11. Avant j’étais effrayé des mobs dans le noir et maintenant que je joue avec Full brightness UB qui m’a fait effet d une thérapie.

What exactly scares you? The sounds? The textures? The fear of dying?

-You could turn specifically hostile mob sounds down in settings.
-You can grab a texture pack that makes them less scary
-You can turn keep inventory on
-You can suck it up since it’s just a game

  13. Just work on getting enchanted diamond armor and weapons. You will get to a point where you can walk away from your screen for a few minutes while mobs beat on you and survive.

I played the game since beta and only recently beat the ender dragon for the first time. It’s actually not that hard if you come prepared. But as you would expect, the better gear you have, the easier the game gets.

In the end game you will begin to see hostile mobs as an annoyance then a threat.

  14. I get it because I’m a grown ahh man who has been playing this game for over a decade and I do get jumpscared by mobs on occasion while caving.

My recommendation would be to maybe play with a mod like fullbright.

  15. Just becomes really OP that mobs won’t pose a threat. Does superman fear street thugs?

Get protection 4 on everything, sharp 5 sword, etc. Villager trading is the easiest and safest way to do it.
