Currently celebrating day 800 on a realm nobody else plays, I've put too much effort into my base and progress compared to any other world I have.
To be clear; I don't pay for the realm, but my friend does, he comes on occasionally but other than that it's been radio silence for weeks. I don't really feel sad but it's a bit odd having no one on when this realm used to be so busy.
All the builds in the background are my own, I was quite spread out from the others because I wanted room to build!
Would anyone else keep playing a realm if nobody else played considering the whole point is playing with others?

I had a similar situation with a server I paid to rent, was a big mod pack
Most people stopped playing after a few months leaving me and two others, who they also stopped, so it’s just sitting there empty
I should probably cancel the subscription on it
You might want him to send you his save file in case he decides to unsubscribe. So you can at least continue playing on this map.
