100 Players Simulate Civilization in Terraria

In this video, I put 100 Terraria players into one world split into four regions, each region starting with different advantages and limitations. How will civilizations form? Will there be peace or war? The story that naturally unfolded was incredible.

DISCLAIMER: While most of the footage and plot information in this video accurately represents what actually happened in this event, some moments have been modified, reshot, or entirely fabricated for purposes of simplification or storytelling. Also, yes, this is HEAVILY inspired by ish’s excellent Rich & Poor 1000 Player Minecraft Civilization Youtube Video.

Thank you all. This is a huge project for me so I’m incredibly grateful that I could get it out on time.
There are literally too many people for me to thank so if you helped me please imagine that I mentioned you here. You are all amazing.

  1. this video was so emotional omg, i almost left a tear when (spoiler)

MrPigglet died, he was my favourite fellow guy 😓, i was not prepared for a bad ending, how could they have died with titanuim armor ?

  2. Back in 2016-2018 i did a few larger scale pvp based worlds similar to this one (though usually smaller time frame) around pedguins community on twitch, hosting events, was always lovely to play or even just watch, this gave a very similar vibe and happy to see it

  3. I actually like the Assorted team even when they seemed like the villains. You can talk about ideal peaceful civilization, but without real power, all that is just talk. Building those structures are so typical of peaceloving teams but should've focused on getting stronger first

  4. Why does this feel the same as all the minecraft civ videos with first event being that each group has to formally select a leader/king and final event they gotta fight to the death because there has to be a "highlight"

cheers to all the builders and the people trying to actually create rather than destroy, would love to see more coop-oriented goals

  5. this video is a fucking masterpiece, from how it starts, how the unscripted plot develops, and how it comes to end. beautiful. i cried.
