I wish they would buff the gem staffs, they’ve been with me since 1.2 and I still try to use them in master mode today, even if they are complete dogshit. I don’t even want an animation overhaul or anything, I just want them to be more usable.

Wand of Frosting is actually surprisingly good. I used it all the way to Skeleton on Master mode.

This is because mage has no prehardmode weapons, and one late prehardmode weapon thats obtainable pre boss
